Another thing is, what's the deal with soul binding armor? Is there a reason behind this? I guess I don't understand the point of preventing an item to be sold to others, but has to be npc'd.

ok thanks, and found the windower.![]()
It's not a "windower"; it's an option every non-console-ported PC game has.
Not a windower to what you are thinking. I relate it to square-enix's version of windower. Which is just ability to minimize the game to look up stuff on the internet or do whatever.
Is placing something heavy on an arrow keep to keep your camera revolving while AFK in order to stay logged in against the ToS? I could see how it could be considered a bot, but I'm not sure what the GM's would think. Note, I'm actually trying to sell stuff, not just save DP.
I even googled it and couldn't find anything... :<
Hannet's Tome or Hannet's Jewel? I can't figure out which one to get. ><; Right now, I have Life Jewel and Worthy Noble Wisdom Tome. And either or would be a great improvement over those two but not exactly sure which one to get.
It really should depend on if you group/PvP or solo more... It's kind of a po-tay-to po-tah-to issue, n'est ce pas?
On a related note, what's it like doing a rift instance? For example, for elyos doing Fire Temple, do they have to go through the same stuff, get the keys and such, and do they get the same drops? Can an Elyos equip a Kromede weapon, for example? It seems like an awful lot of effort and risk for just one spy quest, even if the blue rewards are kinda nice.
Elyos quests in Fire Temple being labeled "Spy" is a bit of a misnomer, they go straight from Kyola Temple to inside Fire Temple with no risk of meeting Asmodians. Their Fire Temple is slightly different I believe, with some renamed mobs (see: Screenshot thread, screenshot of a tree'd "Flame Temple Mugolem"; that mob is named "Aetheric Mugolem" in the Asmodian instance) and a loot table with appropriate Elyos drops.
That being said, later spy quests do make you rift to the other race's zone and make your way into their instances, and in these cases you will get race-specific things like recipes and stigma stones that you can't use. Most gear that isn't crafted isn't race-specific, though.
Speaking of which, I got an Elyos Only stigma drop in fucking Steel Rake. What kind of shit is that?
That is quite interesting, thank you.
On another note, IS there any real trick to Enchanting? I see people with +10 blues and oranges and if I dare try to +3 something I get bitchslapped down to 0. Is it REALLY just a matter of throwing enough money at something til it works? I don't know, I'd rather spend that money on other gear and meds and crafting, I'm not sure I understand the +10 thing.
The higher level the enchantment stone compared to your item's level and grade, the higher chance it will succeed. Blue items need a much bigger difference in level to have a good chance at success than greens and whites (and golds are ridiculous, with you needing an enchantment stone 15-20 levels higher for a decent chance of success).
I've seen Aetheric Mugolem in elysean fire temple, so idk if that's asmo specific
How many people would you say is needed for a legion (or group of legions) to take a fortress? I'm guessing 40+ to be useful levelwise, but how many people have you guys done it with?
Anyone know how plastic surgery tickets will be obtained?
Still no word on the tickets yet. Kinda hoping they come out soon because I don't want to start my Sorc from scratch. ><
Thanks, but the elyos are pretty far behind in Abyss stuff on our server and are more looking for some kind of idea at what numbers we need to do a joint take over. Atm it doesn't matter much who gets their name on it as long as it dies. So I was wonderin what kinda numbers we should have to be able to kill the guardian.
I might be off but most of what I've read about fort sieges basically says that you zerg the wall, go down stairs, and own the guardian and that's it with very little else going on. Is there something more to it? I'm also assuming no dredgion showing up and raping people.
