What's the name of the eyepatch and where can I get one?

Azotuan Researcher's Eyepatch. I think it's Elyos only, I don't know Azoturan Fortress at all. There's two other items with the model in the data, but they look like dummy items.

Edit: Question. Since I didn't get in on the beta, I'm planning on trying out several characters, gonna run 'em all up to 30 slowly to see what I like. I'm enjoying sorc and all, but a lot of other classes seem fun too. Question is, once I have 5 and can do the daevic weapon... I don't know weapons very well, it seems good, but are they generally worth using over, say, Kromede's? Say dagger/sin or spear/glad for arguments sake, since both of those kromedes extend.

Ok, I'm completely new to Aion... I searched this thread for my question, someone DID ask it, but no one answered... so...

I decided to become a Templar. I'm wondering for leveling up solo (Level 14 currently), should I go with sword and shield, or a greatsword? I bought a weald greatsword to see how it did against my Karmic Sword (the one you get from the Master Warrior in Pandae) and I definitely kill faster with my Karmic Sword and shield bashing and whatnot, but of course there are green-quality greatswords I can buy with better damage. Just wanted to ask first before buying one ^^;

I think it's situational, but I haven't really played templar long enough to say for sure. Greatsword kills a lot faster, has great accuracy and parry. Sword and shield will keep you alive longer and is exceptionally useful against harder mobs.

go sword+shield if ur fighting mobs that uses stun/knockbacks

way faster to counter them and not fallen

for easy soft shits like zombies, go greatsword

always focus on break power since gs is slow and u will usually miss it

as for pvp.....GREATSWORD AFTER U SHIELD BASH THE MOFO

as for gold 46 coin armor for templar/glad........i can say its really really sidegrade....

my 48 crafted blue plate body is almost the same stats as plat coin gold plate body

except for less than 10 lesser phy defence, magic resist, and 1 mana socket

thats about 15 mil cheaper

Yeah elyos in Triniel are way outnumbered. Last I heard about 5 of the top elyos legions got wiped out in the recent bannings.

Is there a free trial? Is the game mostly RMT or are there alot of regular people playing as well?

No free trial yet. Some RMT but it's being combated so it's not rampant and destructive overall. Some would disagree. Lots of regular folks play on my server and I presume elsewhere.

Triniel is the place to be if you're an Asmo. I can't see Elyos ever getting an upper center fort unless we all take the night off.

What stigmas should i be using at 34 Templar? I'm currently using Divine Fury, Provoking Roar and IJ.

I recommend you replace Provoking Roar with Incite rage unless you like to voke other mobs in tight spaces.

Unwavering Devotion is also available at that level, but I am guessing very expensive as usual.

Aye, Devotion is going for 3m+ which sucks. I was thinking of replacing PR anyway because the enmity gained from it seems very low. Also, is Break power any good?

Break Power is very good, can do over 2k damage on the norm. Hope you plan on using a 2 hander.

provoking roar sucks.....i used it for like 10 levels and it really didnt help much....i can feel the sudden enhancement in taunting the moment i equip incite rage and not to mention it has enhanced taunt after the patch and i have no trouble keeping 2-4 targets on me the entire fight....

roar kinda dont do much but is mainly for lazy templars that suck at switching target for incite rage and hope that aoe taunt is good enough. they are not.

breakpower is also a pre-req for divine smash(2 sec ranged stun helps alot) for pvp. and its good for shield > face smash, or even 2 handers. its one of your big guns aside from random divine slashes and punishments

u wont need unwavering devotion until 50 or when ur going hardcore pvp pre-50

i just got my unwavering devotion as we speak lol finally managed to get it after camping broker for 1 week. its slotted into my final advance stigma slot

final note: dont ever setup for magic smash. the 1000 earth damage is a lie and is over rated.....your prolly getting more with wrath strike critical and not to mention it makes u take 2 gimp stigmas and waste of APs
