This past weekend my wife received, as a gift from a legion mate, a Noble Star Dragon Polearm (+12% Speed) then a few days later got the White Flame Spear (Kromede's Extendable bastard twin). She enjoys the speed of the Star Dragon, but the overall power and extendable or the White Flame is nuts. She's torn on getting rid of the Star Dragon due to it's speed advantage, and it was a gift afterall. I'm thinking she should just stick with the White Flame, she'll get bigger numbers and have the extendable option.

So Power/Extendable > Speed I guess is my biggest question for the number crunchers.

I'd probably go with the Noble Star Dragon's Polearm. It's easy to enchant to +10 (only need ~45 stones) and the extra speed is really noticeable. The only time the extension on the White Flame would be useful is chasing people and aerial PVP. Useful, but the attack speed is even more so. That being said, if you can get an Expert Noble Adamantium Polearm, upgrade to that.

If you can manage to enchant it up to +10 it will be unparalleled.
Oh wow, am at work and didn't even know that WN Ada Polearm was the base for the expert. Yeah, definitely going to upgrade it then, and I have all of the other materials already sans a few of the fluxes. Great advice - thanks!

Any reason to hold onto Inferno/Hannets at that point, or should I DE them?

I'd say no, but I've never been a gladiator who goes for dual wield.

Dual wield glad is SICK for PVE.

This friend of mine has 2x anuhart daggers, and does more damage than an assassin with them it's seriously insane how much he does compared to some other pretty geared glads I roll with.

Maybe a stupid question, but which would be better? >< I got the blue tonight, but I`d lose out on the 6% atk speed... but gain HP... and lose out on the extra manastone slots..

In a PVP situation, the 2.4% damage reduction on the abyss gloves is basically the same in terms of survivability as having an extra 112 HP (based on the 4,562 HP your profile is showing at the moment), while the blue anuhart's is 126 HP. With the 3 extra manastone slots, you can easily compensate for the marginal difference in base stats.

In a PVE situation, if you're concerned about the difference in HP, you could still use the extra 3 slots on the abyss gloves to slot 2 HP stones to make up the difference and still have 1 extra left over for something else, not to mention, you'd keep your 6% attack speed bonus.

I'm not a sorc, but it looks like the abyss gloves would still be a far better choice in any situation compared to the blue anuhart.

Is there a reason you can't get Miragent's Gloves?

How do I do the Elyos level 45 and 47 advanced stigma quests? I've tried looking them up, but a lot of the descriptions contradict each other or are really vague.

45 sounds like I have to kill Lahulahu and use his drop to open a box somewhere, but someone else said I have to open the box first and then kill him...and neither really explains where the box is

Also what's the difference between upper/middle/lower steel rake, and which one(s) do I need to do for the 45 and 47 stigma quests?

The first quest you go to middle SR and the strongbox is in the same room as the log book for the log book quest. It only takes about 15 mins to get to it if that. You don't need to kill lahulahu despite what the quest description says.

The second quest you kill the bosses in lower and upper and an item drops from each one for the quest. As far as I know, the item is 100% drop from each one and drops for everyone in the group who needs, but there are only 3 bosses total that drop and you need 4 of the item so it will take 2 runs minimum.

SR is divided into 3 decks, lower, middle, and upper. At the start, you start on the middle deck and can either choose to stay on the middle deck, or go to the lower deck. The upper deck is accessible after you defeat the boss of the lower deck. The middle deck of SR is the easier deck and the starting quests for SR involve the middle deck for the most part. The lower and upper decks are slightly higher level than the middle deck is. You can clear all 3 decks in 1 run, but most pickup groups on my server set up groups to either clear middle, or clear lower + upper depending on their goals.

To flag the weapon quest, you need to have any full level 30 daeva armor set in your inventory. It does not even have to be a set that particular character can wear (I got the quest flagged on a sorc with leather set on hand, which sorc can't wear). Once you have flagged the quest, it is no longer necessary to keep the armor set on that character to complete it.

Each char can only do the weapon quest once, so if you want multiple weapons on one character, you'll need to do the quest on multiple characters and trade through the account warehouse (and use the exchange service to get desired weapon if needed). Your glads should be able to pick the bow and sword as quest reward, and your sin can quest for the dagger.
