Looking it up, I'm guessing it has a PH amongst the various sheluk pops in Eltnen. Now, there are some NMs with PHs in ETC, among them being Gurkel and some succubus I've personally never seen. Some claim to have seen them respawn as early as 30 minutes after death (which is about 2 cycles in terms of elites there), but I'm not really believing them.
Big problem with this NM is, if it is a PH, there are 3 areas with sheluks. So, you might want to run around and count the number of spiders in each area (and possibly where they roam). Once you have those numbers, kill them all and wait for repops to see if the number shifts anywhere. If you can somehow pinpoint the PH, you can at least start to predict a possible spawn after its death... just a matter of being the right place and nobody else being around.
I think I've heard about people doing FT with just a sin and a cleric, but just wondering how this works out... I'd love to do some really fast FT runs to try to get an offhand for my sinAnyone know details or have done this before?
They're usually around level 40.
i've gone 33chanter 34sin 37sorc and been fine, 40 sin can solo her with abyss pots so
Well, I found a cleric 36 that was willing to try to duo, and it went fine. My sin is 35 now, was 34 when we started. We've done 2 runs now, take around 45min each, but we also are getting really awesome exp. I got 8 bars in my first run, mind you it's double exp time.
Roah and Asteria fort instances - are there any objectives outside of kill everything?
is it possible to solo spiritmaster atmach on cleric without a mres build? if no around what amount of mres did you guys need before you could kill it reliably?
Strong groups can do all 3.
We let one person loot the whole of the AP items, as we have a static group and lowest AP total from our fort runs gets the next turn, w/ a 4k penalty if you miss an instance.
This means that when someone is looting everyone else is already running+killing the next 2-3 mobs by the time the looter is done, which saves you at least 1min per run.
If you can do all 3 wings in asteria/roah reliably , you should be able to do mid forts without losing any chests either.
newb questions from someone just starting out.
Is there anything for Aion like Campsitarus for grinding spots?
When choosing armor what are the stats to look for in order? Edit: I'm a cleric
example: HP > MB > Maccuracy > Def???
Wondering if anyone can also give there personal experience on farming vs crafting? I have 220 handy crafting would I be better of spending my time farming/selling drops or trying to craft items and play with the broker?
Thanks in advance.
Trying to get an expert craft before 50 is probably just going to bankrupt you. Level alchemy to 399, though, to make your own pots/scrolls.
As for grinding spots, it's mostly all the same shit. Elite mobs/instances drop better loot. Otherwise, just go where the quests are.
For cleric I think HP and magic boost will be your best friends all the way to 50, at which point magic resist takes over in awesomeness. Even then you shouldn't bother with MR until you have a good set of endgame gear (like anuhart's blue/gold, or elite abyss gear, or miragent's).
Afaik most clerics (myself included) stone for HP, and then whenever they upgrade a piece, they re-manastone the previous item for boost and use it as a boost set for soloing.
As long as you keep your weapon up to date, your base magic accuracy should be fine. Defense just kind of works itself out, it's not really something to gear for.
Yeah crafting got real expensive fast. I will defiantly lv alchemy. Is there any benefit to having alchemy 450? My understanding was you can max out 2 crafts. My friend is doing armor and I have Handy crafting. My next choice after handy was alchemy, unsure of how to do my crafting levels though.
@ drex
Got a set of armor atm with HP+40s that I've found through soloing. Been planning on getting a armor set for MB but I never thought of taking a old set and restonning for MB to have good idea thanks!
The only real benefit to alchemy 449 that I've seen is making cheap recovery potions/serums. The few books/orbs you can make with it don't seem to sell well enough to justify the cost of reaching expert. 399 is enough to make all the other high end potions and scrolls.
Yeah, 400+ Alchemy doesn't really have much of anything. I even have a hell of a time selling purple potions. Sucks that people 399 or lower can pretty much compete if you're looking to make money, but I guess I've never seen an MMO where alchemy gets a fair shake.
what does "HHoM" stand for?
[edit] Hot Heart of Magic? lol. Brainfart.
Right Wing Chamber instance, any decent strat to it? we did it last night but there must be a better way than what we did.
Someone please answer ASAP, is LV49 too high to get loot from Kasika? (LV40)
