Edit: Almost have group.. I hear it's a bitch. I guess I can train all the way to the bottom boss by gliding, or run through the entire cave and attempt bosses for gear.

It's easy enough, the only problem you'll have is getting to deputy brigade general as most groups will stop after the other armour dropping bosses.

I posted a draupnir map and some random info earlier in a draupnir thread I posted.

If you just want the brigade general, you want to clear a small way ( literally 10-15 mobs ) then jump off the side and land at one of the safe ledges above the bottom floor ( bypassing like 8+bosses ), then heading straight for the elevator down ( jump+glide off the elevator to skip all the trash and just land on the boss platform layer, drag deputy general up the ramp at the back ).

I was clearing draupnir at 43 as elyos it did take us like 5-6hrs the first time though, at 47+ it was taking us <2hrs ( ofc that doesn't include going to deputy brigade general who we skipped ).

If you just clear first 10-15 mobs > glide to the bottom, you can get there and kill him in < 30 mins from entry.

Well I copy/pasta'd this to the Cleric who seemed to know what he was doing but he insisted we absolutely needed 2 CC's and then eventually DC'd while we were clearing mobs... Story of this server's life.

My groups typically had 0 CC.
1 CC helps a lot, 2 is total overkill.

at 45 we cleared it 4 man ( obv not commander bakarma ) w/ templar ranger ranger cleric. ( trap of slowing 3 lasts 1 min+ ).

Imo, kisk up outside clear the route to the ledge and spend some time scouting how to get down to the floor.

To kisk near the entrance you glide off the left side, run around the hills a bit and you can drop a kisk.

CC in general is pretty overrated in this game, a lot of times it's better to just bring another rng or sin and zerg stuff down

For the longest time we ran Gladiator, Templar, Cleric, Chanter, Assassin. We recently added a Spirit Master, but we're used to fighting 3-4 mobs at a time, ha.

What kind of price does Noble Surkana go for on other servers? I've never seen one for sale on ours and just won the roll on one in DP

He's actually very easy, call who he's targetting on his single target random crap everytime so the cleric can preheal and seeing as you only have one cleric - everyone needs to be potting+shock scrolling.

This. Just call out targets, have people be on top of their dodges and DPS it down.

We were doing just that but honestly the DPS was way too weak and slow. Should have really kicked that Ranger for a Chanter for word of wind for the win.

I don't have a legion to static with, and most PUG's are pretty fail. I kind of have to make do with what I can find and I think we did ok for our first run considering more than half of it was done with 5 members.

I was going to buy some in broker but I am going to wait and see if I get lucky.

Ran DP again tonight. We filled up pretty quickly, we were getting desperate and a Sorc finally applied to fill in last slot. We get in and the Sorc is just auto following the Cleric and didn't have scrolls to catch up to him, ended up pulling a shit ton of aggro and we wiped.

We then commence to ask WTF are you doing, doesn't reply. We kick that POS and then take a close look at her gear.. oh god.

Luckily the replacement was decked out in Fenris, we were 30 minutes behind and still finished with B and we wiped the floor with the boss this time.
