It does not apply to quest rewards, but energy of repose does.

Oh yes, MAJOR piece of advice. If you're going to turn in a campaign, make sure you have some energy of repose. Ups the XP reward significantly.

Are there restrictions to double exp? I don't seem to gain anymore xp from kills (soloing elites) than I did last night, I do have energy of repose so maybe they don't stack?

I reinstalled Aion today, and when I try to start it I get a not responding message when I view the task manager. The game loads up to the mostly black screen with the NCSoft logo, blinks, and does nothing from then on. I restarted my PC and tried repairing it, any other ideas how to fix this problem?

Is it worth it to get a level 38 gold weapon made with xenophons being level 41?

Don't bother with the rifting weapon, it's really not worth it anymore. If you wanna go cheapish, do Kromede's Trial on Elite mode to get a Kaliga weapon, and if you need an offhand/combine, get a 36 silver coin weapon (even a blue is good). It's a decent way to get through to the high 40s, if not 50 (especially if you can +10 it)

Alright, though sub 40 stuff is pretty damned cheap to +10. At least try to +5 it, should last for a while. Xeno is still pretty bad, especially for the effort involved. Better to try to get something crafted, or buy a world drop gold off the broker even.

I wouldn't worry about +'ing it at all. The starter quest at the new 50+ zone gives you a decent gold weapon that is better than anything you will get outside of getting a lucky Theo Labs drop (which you shouldn't expect to get anyways) or buying a dragon crafted weapon. And even then, once you hit 51/52 you can buy a really good weapon from... (blanking on name of the instance) for pretty cheap since ppl are always trying to sell them and they are pretty common

I suppose you don't have to +10 it, but I find the extra large bundle of attack helps make those last few levels to 50 so much easier. I may be biased by having huge wads of cash from crafting, so +10ing even a level 40 weapon is pretty cheap. I guess dropping a couple mil on stones when you're at that level isn't so easy

Anyways, at level 50, once you hit Ing/Gelk, you can get a [Race] Reinforcer's weapon. It's pretty damned nice for a free weapon. And the instance Katlan means is Udas; you can honestly probably get a full Udas set, weapon included, for... what, 15mil? Maybe 20 depending on server.

lol, 47-50 is still fuckin terrible. no +10/15 weapon makes that shit any better. Only thing that makes its easier is during double xp weekends and just spam Theo Labds or get a buddy (if you can't solo indratu mobs) and go duo those mobs. But I guess being able to solo or duo em means you know how to get to them and have waterfall access.. soo yeah, most likely not on a first character.

47-50 comes down to doing theo labs and grinding... because you run out of quests and the few that are left all revolve around a TERRABLE cave (Marla cave) where you have to fight 50000000 mobs that are on 3minute respawn timers to get anywhere. you are stuck going there for a few missions anyways... so just save up as many quests as you can that go in there and do em while your doing the missions.

Udas gear is dirt cheap. Weapons averaged about 7-11m and the rest of the armor were like 400k-800k a piece. I think the gold 53 crafted gear is better (and looks much sexier), but that depends on how wealthy you are. I think i dropped like 50'ish mil for the full set (minus boots since you get a good free pair at 50 i think) for my alt.

Oh yeah. Do arena daily starting at 46 (you just need to pick up your ticket daily, you can save em and do a bunch every few days). Dunno if they have changed it yet, but even if you go in there and get slaughtered or afk, its easy tickets each day and the gear isn't that expensive. if you do that daily once you get 46, by the time your 55 you will be able to easily grab a few pieces and even the Tier 1 stuff is very close to being on par w/Besh Temple HM gear
