The IFX-14 is newer and more efficient than the U120E, but it's also hueger, and even more xbox-liek.

Space permitting, I'd pick the IFX, but it might well not fit in some rigs, heh.

Now that you mention it that was my biggest concern - getting a cooler that would fit in my case (I figured on 156mm clearance). I was sure the Xigmatek & Noctua coolers wouldn't fit, and the TRUE Rev B. was cutting it really close by my measurements. The Prolima was overkill since it's designed more for the i7. That left the V8 and the 9900. I ended up getting the 9900 because it gave me the most clearance (152mm), it's an all-copper unit and was just five bucks more than the V8 ($60 on sale - price is back up to $80 now).
