    limbus question

when entering my limbus shell breaks into a couple partys then once in different zones we ally up again and do multi-zones at once. i was paging through the drama thread thing and saw the LM-17 thread and it got me thinking. is this an exploit and should i avoid it? other than being able to talk to each other and sharing the treasure pool for af upgrade items is there any reason for doing this?

It was an exploit in salvage and sand worm I think? Never happened in Limbus, to my knowledge, so, no, it's not an exploit.

It's not unless SE wants to ban the rest of the player base. And pretty much nope there isn't a reason to do it can stay in different parties and just invite people when something they need drops.

it's a lot more convinient to have everyone in an alliance than inviting people, although the /p macros get interesting. we do rather well at clearing multi zones at once, just making sure there wasnt anything odd going on. time chests only apply to the limbus "area" you are in and not the whole zone right?

just tryin to avoid any trouble with STF in the future....and just cause you're not paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you.

Yeah--it's not an exploit. It's the same zone. However, my shell's been doing this and it can cause a lot of confusion (if your group is full of Limbus-newbies) because if people are calling out pulls and directions in PT chat you can easily get confused, and it causes people to stop talking/communicating. I would highly recommend staying in your own parties and grouping up at the end.

our group is a fairly seasoned group so pulls and such don't cause more than momentary "he's pulling a WHAT, oh wait, he's not talking to us" situation and even that it's only on a rare occasion.

i'm more worried about making sure it's on the up and up, which it sounds like it is.

People have been doing this since Limbus was introduced. It's not an exploit because your not dupe'ing anything or even affecting what's going on in the other zone. If STF wants to get serious about this then they might as well ban anyone who joins any party in the same zone for a specific drop.

This. Every LS that does Limbus is smart enough not to send an entire alliance into one Apollyon/Temenos zone.

Have one group use /p, and the other group use /l. Adjust macros as needed. If you know you're zones well enough, you'll know what does and doesn't apply to you as well. If you're pulling an Elemental in Apollyon SE, something has gone very, very wrong.

Or you can use this as an excuse to get people to stop using stupid /p macros that are completely unnecessary.

If everyone uses /shout I am pretty sure everyone will only see their own group's chat.

Otherwise you could use shout to communicate with random groups of people doing Apollyon/Temenos at the same time as you, which would be weird.
