The majority of language isn't literal, just based on the couple things you've said, you clearly have a tendency to take things at the face value of the literal sense of the words as opposed to the metaphorical value("real" language is 99.9999999% metaphorical).

i dunno man, i read the words that are in front of me instead of assuming that i know what comes next. i've also had way too much therapy for that to seriously have gone undiagnosed and i will be fucking highly pissed to find out that my thousands and thousands of dollars poured into the psychiatric professional have failed to yield anything more legitimate than i hate my mom or some shit if that turns out to be true.

Well for what it's worth I'm not setting anything up but I cant promise that I wont make a smartassed remark if it comes to my head. Or rather I can promise that but it would be a lie. Just the term "Semi well respected" sounded odd to me.

well it's hard to be well respected when you don't have any formal training, but it's also hard to dismiss your validity when you've written anything that receives recognition despite lack of formal training. so you're kind of in a grey area where people don't want to give you too much credit because you didn't sweat blood at a million super stuck-up poetry workshops but it would look too cliquey and cunty to write you off entirely.

i'm like the reference point you bring your work to before you go to a real evaluation so the more obvious shit can be corrected so you don't look like a total tool in front of a group of people. and/or basically the person you bring your half-finished shit to the night before so we can collaborate and you can go to school and take all the credit. whatever works.
