I would like to sell you a property I own, 1 Brooklyn Bridge (ONE BROOKLYN BRIDGE)...
Okay... here's the scoop:
1) If you were really an inheritor of the estate, the people tracking you down wouldn't just give you half because you had the same name. These days, they would test to see if you were a genetic match or even remotely related. Do you know how many people out in the world have my name, complete with middle initial? Quite a few thousand... and I thought my name was unique.
2) If they were serving you legal notice, they would have an interpreter actually type it out correctly so as to not allow any legal backlash due to a mistranslation.
3) If it was legit, the letter would have to be certified and signed for so that there was proof you were the person they were attempting to contact. Nobody serves legal documents like inheritance-info to any random Joe.
4) If it was legit, you wouldn't have to pay anything. They would take it out of your inheritance or there would be no fee, because you have a legal right to the money. They would be more likely to fly lawyers over here or fly you over there to complete the proceedings.
5) This goes without saying, but any monetary amount is spelled out first, it's never put in numbers. So, in legal terms, it should have said something along the lines of "Fifteen million two-hundred thousand American dollars" without numbers (because numbers can be altered, regardless, and are irrelevant to legal documentation... everything is always spelled out in long-form).
6) Lastly, he says if you have no interest that he will search for another partner. I thought you inherited this money? Why are you a partner if you have legal right to the money? Don't waste your time. Instead, you should take this letter to a fraud department somewhere and alert them to this scam. It'll save millions of stupid people that actually believe they're getting money.
You know the answer to this.
Disregard everyone else, they don't know what they're talking about. I had the EXACT same thing happen to me, and I almost didn't go for it. Then I did and damn now I am living happy! See you got to know how to spot the real ones from the fake ones. With all the fake ones now a days it's hard to tell the real ones apart. This is a real one. I can tell. The real ones have bold letters, fake ones don't know how to do that stuff.
Plus I mean, it's 6.4 million (SIX POINT FOUR MILLION), how could you possibly let that go unclaimed!
Alishe, I couldn't help but notice you have about 100,000,000G (ONE HUNDRED MILLION GIL). Sweet deal! Paypal me $100 (ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS) and I'll share some of that with you fifty-fifty (FIFTY-FIFTY).
This is better than winning the lottery.
Seeing you gone is the only thing better than winning the lottery.
I just got one recently again oh joy...!

I am the manager of auditing and accounting department of BANK OF AFRICA (B.O.A) here in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. In my department we discovered an abandoned sum $30 million us dollars in an account that belongs to one of our foreign customer who died along with his entire family on 2003 in a plane crash. Since we got information about his death, we have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we can not release it unless some body applies for it as next of kin or relation to the deceased. unfortunately I learnt that all his supposed next of kin or relation died alongside with him at the plane crash leaving nobody behind for the claim. It is therefore upon this discovery that I now decided to make this business proposal to you, so that the money can be release to you as the next of kin. upon your reply I will send you full details on how the business will be executed, send me your contact information. 1.Age.(2)Residential address(3) occupation(4)private telephone.you are to reach me through this private email address email [email protected]
