    Anyone familiar with projector repair?

I don't know if this even belongs here but, I've had my projector for 2 years at this point.

I went on vacation about 2 months ago and my lamp indicator was flashing, the bulb had like 2200 hours on it. About 2 days before I left,I was watching a movie and the picture started fading until it was so dim, It was just a very dark blue/black. I looked at the light coming out of the projector and instead of coming out of the whole lens, it was only coming out of like, a very small circle in the center of it (if that makes any sense). I disregarded it and said it was the projector bulb, so I ordered one so that by the time I got back from my vacation, it would be there.

Well, I got home yesterday, replaced the bulb, and the same thing happened. I only had light coming out of the very center of the lens, and it was a very very dim light, that just showed up as blue. I touched the button to bring up the menu but no menu came up. I held a piece of paper really close to the lens, to see if that would allow me to see what was on the screen better, and on the paper it looks like there are a series of green dots, and one red dot showing.

If any of this makes sense, please let me know what you think it could be. It doesn't seem like the projector is "running". I can see light coming out of it but I can't hear the fans really spinning, its just not making the noise as if its on. It is a Panasonic PT-AE900U projector, and panasonic's projector customer support isn't open until tomorrow but I dont wanna wait (or pay 500 dollars so they can fix it) If anyone has any ideas please let me know!

I know projectors have color wheels, and I'd think that's whats going since the colors are all screwed up, either way if the bulb didn't fix it, it's obviously something else and projectors are pretty hard to fix without a really good knowledge of how they work. Looks like Panasonic repair or buy another
