I believe he could get into 8.9x. I don't think we've ever even seen him hit full stride for part of a race.

100-meter Sprint World Record Could Go As Low As 9.48 Seconds
9.48 hmmm, i dont think Bolt will go lower than 9.50 with perfect conditions.
Pretty sure he could break 9.5 if he didnt start coasting 15 meters before the end.
Fucking ridiculous how insincere he is about competition. If you're the best, why not be the best instead being a cocky fuck who doesn't even look like he's trying?
I mean... seriously... he tries to keep a slower pace just so that everyone else can keep up with him.
He can push himself way further. He just refuses to.
Makes more money and brings more attention every time the record is broken. Someone should sneak into his practices and time him if he goes all out.
Dude... that's a tenth of a second off what he ran today, and he was just sitting there staying just in front of people that would've SMASHED world records in that race if he didn't exist.
He seriously has like... a whole lot of room to spare. A whooooole lot.
I'll guarantee right now he'll get below 9.48 in the next year and a half ish.
probably paid off some judges so he could get in and be all doped up
running is the most corrupt sport
He could've done better, he even had time to look into the crowd/camera.
Just because he is black doesn't mean he cheats in sports, that's racist. It's also very unlikely since where would a black man get the money for bribes?
he thinks he's so cool
with his runnings
But what kind of name is Telula?
That was my mother's name.
This just in, black man runs fast! Film at eleven!
Equally amazing run yesterday - Paula Radcliffe at the NY Half - 36, 10 months off after foot surgery, decides to enter 3 days before and wins and beats her own record.
That's not her record for the half, but it was still a hell of a run.
I read this article, and I was like, wut?
4:34 does not compute. Her gait is so, what's the word here...floppy? If she can go sub 2:20 a week after that race, that's amazing.David Lam wrote this blog post on the race, "I've watched Radcliffe on TV many times before, but I've never seen her compete in person (she won three of the five marathons I completed in NYC and London). Boy is she fast," and has photographs of her "zipping through Times Square." He added, "In fact, she was so fast, she beat the R train I took from Times Square to the finish at Battery Park in Lower Manhattan. I arrived about 10 minutes after Radcliffe won the race (she averaged 4:34 per mile today)...That really puts her (and the other top finishers') incredible speed in perspective." Ethiopia's Mamitu Daska placed second in the women's race at 1:11:04 and Kenya's Catherine Ndereba was third in 1:11:56.
I grew up near where she's from and got fucking obliterated by her in a county cross country competition. It was the middle of a shitty winter and me and all the other guys where fucking covered in mud and feeling hella worse for wear and she just went fucking blaaaaaaaasting passed all of us without a spot of mud on her. Bitch.
Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme. No one gives a shit about running, it's bobsled time.
Not exactly Bolt-related, but it is Track & Field in Berlin; Anyone see Isinbayeva? Unexpected/10.
