- Publish a novel
- Vote for an avowed atheist, see him/her get office.
- Meet Martha Argerich
- Get paid to play my own music
- Meet JK Rowling
- Touch Emma Watson
No need for the flamebait. Let the thread run its original course.I'd imagine that implies in pieces while taking as much infidels as possible?
-Fall in love and have it returned
-create a motion picture that makes people think when they leave the theater and garner critical acclaim.
I'm a simple man, that's all I really want.
See a BG thread actually worth reading.
Ok for realz this time,
-Drive above 180mph
-Get married
-Visit Milan, Italy (the city where my family comes from)
-Japan
-Die in a peaceful manner
I do my best but bucket lists come on. If we were all 75 and didn't have much time left sure. But when most of the people on here aren't that old this thread is pretty pointless.
Edit: Not to mention the shitty movie that covered the same topic.
So I'm only supposed to post to threads that I like I see. Sorry for the mistake.
Edit: My goal is to quote everyone I disagree with like <insert name> does.
Zaraki the Louvre doesn't really take a week to see, even if you go over it in fine detailI'd say maybe 3 days to really get a good look at everything. Besides, Paris museum passes only go up to 6 days! ;D
(Just got back from Paris, it was awesome!)
My list:
Next 3 years:
- See as much of Europe as possible! :D
Generally:
- Do something that changes the world for the better with my work
- Do the Inca trail walk
- See more of the world (especially eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East, South America, and Asia)
- Go back to Japan
- Visit Antarctica
- Retire gracefully and happily to somewhere nice and quiet with a big vege garden and superfast internet (or whatever comes next)
- See above's "whatever comes next" actually arrive
- See religious groups get over their hatred of each other and actually read their holy books where it says they need to be, like, totally deontological with each other, man
yeah okay so the last one is doomed but we can hope right? Also I'd like to avoid Alzheimer's.![]()
I forgot the point of discussing things online was to agree with people.
And what does age have to do with it? I'm young but I have very bad ulcers and could die this year, next year, whenever. If you believe the only way you can die is by old age and thus decided to put off your dreams till the last minute, then I pray for a speeding bus.
That's too bad.
Drive the Nürburgring and other world famous tracks.
Open a tuning garage and compete in events regularly with car.
Meet the whole Top Gear gang, but I'll settle for just Jeremy Clarkson.
Be able to throw down any snowboard trick I want.
I'll think of more later...
Obviously the use of 'Bucket List' here is a short well-known phrase for 'List of things you want to do before you die', saving a few words, etc. Quit being a douche about it, Thomassmith.
Without giving it too much thought:
Go skydiving (and live to tell about it, obvi)
See Rio de Janeiro, Edinburgh, Dublin, Tokyo, Paris, Cairo, and Berlin
Play disc golf in all 48 continental states (42 to go)
Have a kid (probably sooner than later, my wife is ready to have kids too)
My mother and sister are doing this in a few months.
There are a lot of organisations that do charity walks/treks as fundraisers for different charities.
They signed up and did everything through Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity but the company who handles everything for the hospital is Discover Adventure.
You could crank out a trek next year with some planning and maybe even raise money for a charity to boot.
