I don't see why people say the 3D was so great. You forget its there after the first 25 minutes. Worth seeing in 3D? Absolutely. Worth seeing a second time just for 3D? I wouldn't.

I just thought I would point out that 3d done correctly should be like this. It enhances the film without puking objects off the screen into your face. If you know it is there then it pulls you out of the moment .

After a certain amount of time you forget it is there but you would know it is there if it was taken away. Kinda like good surround sound, after a while you should forget it is there and focus on the movie.

Yeah I liked that the 3D was used mainly to enhance the scenery, not do shit like show bullets or whatever flying at you. The visuals were truly the best part of the film, and the 3D did a good job of enhancing it without intruding on the experience.

Finally got a chance to see it. Went IMAX 3D and I thought it was fantastic. Story lacked, sure, but I'm not going to complain. The visuals and atmosphere were great.

Saw this last night, the one 3D aspect I was annoyed by were the flies. They really didn't serve much of a purpose other than being distracting 3D crap. The movie itself was solid I guess, nothing terribly remarkable but like everyone else has said, great visuals.
