If I can actually be super cereal for a sec. For me being SJW isn't really about "not liking stuff." To me it's about being aware about problems surrounding shit I like and wanting better shit for people that have less than me or are lagging behind due to "institutional" shit.

The problem with that though is if people can't differentiate between what you've said and homophobic, racist or sexist shit then even if you're not actually any of those things, you give it a sort of power

I don't actually give a shit what people think about me, but I care a shitload about people understanding me and I care a shitload about the impressions I give. Basically, if a person hates me, I want them to actually KNOW why they hate me or can't stand . None of that 'I can't stand him but I don't know why" nonsense.
