hmm, what's happening around 1:13? it looks like the follow-up attacks from Persona 4, but those weren't in Persona 3... that would be cool, the battle effects of the party social links was one of the smartest improvements to Persona 4.

i remember back in the day when eternal punishment (which is practically the same..) first came out that i kept dying all the time. in innocent sin I'm in the first "dungeon", already overlevelled and enemies do 1 damage lol....

P4 was 2 years after P3, so basically everyone of the main cast has graduated, with Chihiro being the only one there since she was your kouhai in P3.

I wonder if the ally support would be available in the male version, since so far the changes to social links seemed to be female side only.

Yeah, but I'm just saying if it can happen after you can imagine the possibility of meeting one of them before. The P4 cast would be in...middle school(?) during this time, so maybe one (or all) visited the island during a trip again.

Tartarus have some pretty bullshit moment though.

I think I've wasted like at least 3-5 hours of playtime getting ganked by reds while trying to get out of it after getting my characters tired for one reason or the other.
