mmmm got a weird "discovery" :

While checking Lesser Colibris' defense outside Whitegate, i go naked (elv THF75/nin) and check one Lcoli : "easy prey"
Then i equip Viking Shield, hoping check would go "Low Defense"

Guess what it checked :

"Easy Prey and Low Evasion"

i'm like wtf o.O Viking Shield Hidden effect accuracy-12 ?

Could someone explain me this please ?

Edit: just tested des/equipping Bomb Core : check always "Easy Prey" in both cases.

If it went from no information regarding evasion to low evasion, then the shield would be adding accuracy and not accuracy-12. I have no explanation for this unless it's an unnoticed hidden effect (assuming no errors on your part). You should consider doing more testing.

I know that you'll have a 6-hit if /sam using Rajas, Brutal, and at least 2 hits of RR/KJ land; or you can add one more sTP (Chiv Chain, Echoporia Ring) to get a "true" 6-hit. Now, assuming I'm using Rajas + Brutal, and only one hit of RR or KJ lands (or I use Steel Cyclone, or get Feather Tickled, or a mob is out of range when I WS or whatever), would I need to use Ecphoria or Chiv Chain until I get 100tp again, or could I have X attacks land, and then swap back to whatever ring or neck-piece I normally use?

With SV I believe March 2x + Haste is enough to cap your magic haste. Hence, why most DRGs are wasting their 2hr if they use it before buffs wear off.

The poster said he was naked thf/nin save for Viking Shield. I don't think there are any killer effects to consider in that case. Also, what Chiyio said above.

Is there any way to know if Argus or Leech king will spawn? I got my amulet a loooong time ago, and want to help a friend get his. I remember someone on KI saying it wasn't random(this was also a long time ago). Wondering if there's any truth to that.

Edit: Not FFXI related, but has BG been fucking up for anyone else? I can look at like four threads, and then I just get a black screen in my tab. More than likely due to laptop shittiness, but just wondering.

Go to Config > Misc (1 or 2, don't remember) and choose Compact Keyboard. H is lock on using that configuration.

Alternatively don't play on laptop because moving with WASD is fucking retarded.

The trick to steer easy on WASD is to use W to move forward and turn the camera with arrow buttons to reverse control your chars movement.

Or run in FPV, thats also pretty easy.
