I bought a wireless USB keyboard for my laptop because I can't stand compact keyboard setup. Not being able to hit macros while running makes playing a mage impossible.

Not impossible, it just requires coordination and a fluid macro system. Full keyboard is definitely preferable though.
Do you have to be engaged in order to parry? Levelling my BRD up and I need something to idle/pull in until Terra's. So was thinking 2x parrying knives but I won't be engaged.
99% sure you do. I don't remember ever parrying VV or JoF the days before I started engaging.
Thanks,
guess I will just have to make do with HP+ staff. No other viable options at my lvl, and VIT-5 from Monster Signa kinda hurts my turtle set (which btw owns at low level, switching from song gear to turtle gear reduces dmg taken from exp mobs by about 60-70%)
And yes, I may just be the only person who isn't halfassing brd before 75.
I wore a swimsuit and a Monster Signa
What's the increase in proc rate on Rapid Shot from Hunter's Beret (+1)? Is it known? or do I get to shoot thousands of wooden arrows at a fortification to test if I want to know?
Which KSNMs/ENMs/etc can be [easily] duo'd by KC-DRK + mage (RDM/DRK?), or just solo'd by KC-DRK?
I guess if there are some 50's that can be done with M.Kris, that would be fun to know also.
For skilling parry I duel wield aprrying daggers, parry torque, parry earring, emissary boots, and a bunch of -eva gear like tilt belt, cavalier's mantle, etc etc.
I generally get 1-2 levels of parrying per robber crab.
Would a well geared DRK/NIN with a level 70 Healer NPC be able to take out King Arthro with liberal use of drains?
If they can't, there's a serious problem.
I'd assume so, unless they have a kraken or something for a big bonus in damage.. MNK does far better damage on weak targets than DRK does.
How would I go about accounting for hits exceeding 100% TP on a Dual Wield job? Hits from offhand and Double Attack in an attack round where I've already reached 100% TP. Add Triple Attack to that if you're feeling fancy but it doesn't really factor in for what I'm doing, wouldn't mind having for a general equation though.
why is the FINAL FANTASY XI Official Web Site main page not updating? did I miss something?
