drg doesn't have meikyo shisui dawg
no, but dragoon can solo the enm, here is a video.
YouTube - ENM50 "Pulling the Plug" Dragoon Solo
he asked if it made it a pushover for drg, it doesn't
polearm sam has meikyo and 3 pentas utterly destroys the main orb
Sorry the "no" at the beginning of my last post was referring to that it wasn't a pushover like sam but still possible. My bad, I probably should have been more clear.
Ya...dragoon doesn't quite compare to 5 instant Pentas...though really only 4 are needed, I still wait to have a safety margin (mess up, get knocked as you try to WS and lose tp, or whatever).
When using Barrage with Holy Bolts, does the add dmg not proc? Too lazy to try and work it out lol
Corsair end-game question.
As my COR is nearing level 75, I want to start focusing on what my roles will be end-game. What is the ideal equipment for Quick Draw? For instance, friend of mine who's COR75 told me HQ staves aren't worth it for COR, and that I'm better off just using NQ staves.
My COR will mostly be Walmart :/ since I'll be missing a lot of essential pieces, like relic hat.
yea I know that, I didnt know Meikyo Shisui is needed to make it easy, I could get a Wing to help add to another ws, Sleep/necklace at the beginning for the first WS, and Meditate for another WS
thanks, aleast i know it's possible, i'll check the video when I get home
Opo-opo necklace is level 61.
In the video the DRG used milk, coeurl sub and an icarus wing. Ran in and Penta'd the first, then Jumped and High Jumped the main and psychoanima'd the empty pop. Empty seed killed his wyvern so he called it and then Spirit Surge Penta'd the main, two more jumps and he won.
You're looking at something like:
X Staff | X Grip | Corsair's Gun | Steel Bullet
Cor Tricorn (+1) | *1 | Moldy | Drone/Novio
Denali | Relic(+1)/Skadi | AGI R. | AGI R.
AGI/MP | Scouter's | *2 | AF+1
Staff wise, its really up to how hardcore you wanna play the job. If its going to be a main end game job that you want to play to the full extent, invest in HQ staves. Extra magic attack bonus is always good, and its more or less accepted that QD is affected by Magic Accuracy as well. Grips.. I'm not carrying around 8 grips, I would just get the MP+whatever.
Personally, I just don't have the room for even the NQ's and I don't play COR as often as I used to, so I just use a bart's knife for +2 AGI and a Legion Scutum for MP+20 since I typically end up playing /whm support.
*1: Neckpieces you have a lot of options. Ugly pendant according to your MP, Agile Gorget is +2 AGI, probably the easiest and cheapest. Hope Torque +5, and then there's a new one from campaign that's +4 that isn't hard to get really.
*2: Legs there's a few options, Denali probably being the best. Nimue's Tights from the La Vaule SCNM fight have 1 more MAB, but not the AGI or M.acc. There's also War Brais for 4 AGI, or +1 for 5.
A side note, I don't think you're elvaan, but the RSE2 boots are AGI+6 and MP+30.
Edit: Ring wise, the AGI+4 are cheap, you could also alternatively use Insect Ring / Omega Ring if you're a believer in the M.acc being 2 AGI = 1 M.acc for QD. I use this setup. RDM Roll would always seem to help my resists on Tiamat back in the day.
DRK Great Sword question...gearing for Ground Strike, should the focus be all on stacking STR? Since its 1 hit the acc should be alright, or should u stick with some ACC as well?
EDIT: Oh yeah, also is the Perdu Great Sword any good? Don't hear too much about it, but as GSWDs go the stats look nice (like most Perdu weapons) but maybe im missing something when it comes to the best GSWDs in the game
