456 makes it a bad delay for a 6-hit iirc. Naglering (sp?) has comparable dmg and stats, and the capacity for 6-hit.

456 delay is an easy 7-hit (6-hit not remotely possible on DRK), but comparatively slow (to 100TP) compared to Naglering/Algol 6-hit. Subduer (and other 444 delay GSWDs) needs more work to get a 7-hit, and is only slightly slower than Nag 6-hit, for something perhaps a bit more competitive.

If you have access to a Perdu Sword, but not the others and can 7-hit it, I'd say it's a decent option. Not one of the best, but acceptable. (It is, however, horrible over 100TP.)

RE: G.Sword WSes: STR and attack are you primary concerns, similar priorities to Y/G/K, with more focus on attack. Pretty sure ACC shouldn't matter at all.

Yeah I had gil to spend on HQ staves, but decided to spend that gil on other shit because I listened to him. No problem though, thanks for the tips :D I'm just really looking forward to COR endgame.

For CORs who QD solo alot: could one of you post the scripts you use to get around the delay from using QD and keep running at +movement speed while doing damage?

40 - Combat Caster's Scimitar or AF1
43 - Combat Caster's Scimitar+1/2
50 - Immortal's Shotel (hard to get)
53 - D.Steel Falchion
55 - Musketeer Commander's Falchion
60 - Greed Scimitar or Leech Scimitar or Singh Kilij (personally went Singh here, many would argue for the other two swords)
65 - Ifrit's Blade or D.Steel Slayer variant (Marine, Insect)
70 - Storm Scimitar (hard to get)
71 - Senior Gold Musketeer's Scimitar or Storm Tulwar
72 - Koggelmander (worth every minute in MMM)
73 - Adaman Kilij or Slayer variants
73 - Perdu Hanger
74 - Fragarach
75 - Erlking's / Beast Slayer

BLU is one of those jobs where you have a relatively healthy amount of options of good swords from the midgame to the endgame. I left some swords off the list (Wing, Shiva's, Nightmare, Dissector) but above is a pretty good showing of the weapons you might consider.

At the endgame you have multiple good options to choose from in:

Perdu/Koggel
Erlking's/Koggel
Perdu/Frag
Perdu/Wing/+1
Perdu/Beast
Perdu/Slayer/+1
Koggel/Frag
Storm/Koggel
Erlking's/Frag

Perdu/Beast is pretty good but id suggest going for the Koggelmander when you get the time. Two things id advise against doing (mainly because I wasted my time doing it) is offhanding Ifrit's for a long time or investing in breaking a Dissector.

all you do is blink it, there is no other trick to you. You might need a wait in there between the JA and putting back on whatever gear you swapped, but just play around with it.

Sleep add effect works on Barrage and WSing, so everything else as an added effect should, just doesn't show up in log at all

Bloody bolts don't proc on barrage, I just assumed none of the others did but never tested any of them out. They do all work on WS though.

Oh, I've never ever barraged bloody bolts but I've WSed them and figured it would've been the same, but otherwise I've had everything proc on barrage as well as WSing yeah (clearly observable effects anyway, that spider didn't decide to fall asleep on it's own :<)

I would say light and wind for sure are worth it, never find myself using Dispel really or it getting resisted.

They are worth it for COR esp if your QD soloing, hell if your worried about the gil, borrow a staff from a friend who has a HQ and go test it you wont be disapointed with the results.

Im pretty sure you can just change the QD .dat to a gaze .dat. I recall someone doing it with MNK to solo JoFort with boost/chi/chakra; Im sure it could be used in a similar application to QD.

The thing is, corsair has very limited means to boosting Quick Draw, which is pretty damn powerful to begin with. Willingly sacrificing 5% extra damage because you find it to not be worthwhile is.. Yeah.

If you need to spend money elsewhere, that's quite another thing.

All of them are useful for Threnody, but at least get HQ Fire for Ice Threnody
