Wiki has no info - has anyone done ANY testing on Seismic Axe to see what % ACC / % DMG it adds to King's Justice? I assume it's shitty and I'm just curious.
Bhaflau Remnants ramparts: My friends were saying its possible to have 5 mobs + an NM up at once. If you leave all 5 mobs up, I know the rampart will not spawn anymore bees/birds etc. and just lose HP. But has anyone slept all 5, then just sat there and seen an NM pop after like 20-30%+ or nothing popping?
As my bard gets higher, I'm going to make an honest attempt at camping almighty apkulla, which really isnt that hard considering how often I'm on that boat for fishing.
So I'm just wondering if anyone who got lucky enough to fight the bird could tell me, would my 75 dancer be able to handle it? maybe with another 75 friend?
Yeah, im pretty much convinced apkulla is like noble mold, only even more retarded in that his zone changes.
I think its most likely a very long lottery, 18 hours or something like that, with the window only opening then under certain weather or whatnot.
IE if someone kept unknowingly killing the noble molds ph every 10 hours or so, with the rare occurrence of them actually going without being killed for 18 hours straight, then it raining, with the window open, then noble mold would pop.
Same idea for apkulla, except his Ph is in a much higher trafficked area so the chances of his PHs not getting killed for n hours straight is even lower.
So the reason he'd be popping right after maint is because of course, no one has been killing his PHs and whatnot.
As for him popping after maint, do we have any numbers on how long it takes?
Q#1:
Is the final ACP battle zergable via RDM/DRK + KrakenDRK?
Q#2: (this one's fun!)
Is there a way to .DAT swap some of the animation files
(are they their own files?) so that resting/standing animation,
and engage/disengage animations, are instantaneous, or quicker?
Q#3: (funner still!)
Is there a plugin for windower (or something close), that
could reload your character every 1/2 second or so?
(reload meaning auto-blink)
If you manually do this by, say, changing bodyslot over and over (equip/unequip/equip/unequip) then you can skip all the horrible animation locks, and engage/attack/disengage (oneshot a TW mob, for example) without any delay. Plus, you could slowly move while bound without the hassle of spam-clickage!
(It'd be really great, but for people like me who would miss the pretty of seeing my char, I'd wanna superimpose a "fake" dupicate of my char, or something... but that's a whole different impossible thing, I bet.)
No. It builds souleater resistance. You can zerg it with heavy DD(MNK are yummy!) and chainstun/soul voice.
Yes, but I don't know how.Q#2: (this one's fun!)

not atm, though it's pretty easy to doQ#3: (funner still!)

FFXI-App does this without blinking. I'd say it's far more on the cheating side than the legit side of mods.If you manually do this by, say, changing bodyslot over and over (equip/unequip/equip/unequip) then you can skip all the horrible animation locks, and engage/attack/disengage (oneshot a TW mob, for example) without any delay.

just get app and save yourself the trouble(It'd be really great, but for people like me who would miss the pretty of seeing my char, I'd wanna superimpose a "fake" dupicate of my char, or something... but that's a whole different impossible thing, I bet.)
Delete the .dat, its what I did for choco jig to remove its terrible animation
Do you hafta make a dummy file or can you just delete? I thought deleting would force update/messup stuff...
Yes, that seems pretty cheatery. And I don't wanna use FFXIApp, there's some really shady stuff it can do... plus it costs money, right?
Hmmm, but would you really be able to move faster than manually-clicking-blink allows you to? If so, then I'd agree that that's pretty bad...
(either way, I don't think I'd do any of this... mainly just interested from a programmery perspective -- it seemed to me like someone woulda done these things by now if they were possible)
Thanks for the replies!![]()
Yeah it does really mess it up sometimes, if my char uses jig 2 times his dat flips the fuck out, or it'll do the animation of something that played nearby (once someone cast tele nearby and my char cast it as well and disappeared until I did a armor swap)
swap anything you want to "remove" with Merit up!!! or Level up!!! dat.
Nice find, this helps a lot, thank you very much :3
I saw a video that guy made, for a "Job Change" animation that was really quick, with a light bulb over his head. Is that downloadable somewhere? I tried looking on that site, but it's possible I'm blind.
EDIT: found the video at least
I gave my pal on Levi numbers that I calculated for KJ on a lesser coli using seismic + soil gorget and assuming they stacked, he went out and did the exact damage I gave him at one point, and all of his damages fell in the range of cRatio variations. When he took off soil gorget it dropped accordingly, and using martial bhuj dropped it what I would expect from the -4 Dmg/swap from 0.1 fTP to .25.
I assumed it was already known, but never said much about it because when I did the math for Perdu/Seismic/Mbhuj, Seismic only wins if you need a lot of acc, as Perdu is dead even with it damage wise, Seismic pulling out SLIGHTLY at 300% from the extra fTP bump, and Mbhuj is actually surprisingly good at 100% TP with no double attacks. The added base damage on the others make them pull ahead on 4 and 5 hit KJ's by quite a bit.
As for Fort axe, 3 hits only, ever, trust me. I farmed up the organs for an Aqua gorget a long time ago, well after I (thought I had) traded a blue chip to the chick.
Turns out I had given her a clear chip, so I had a shit ton of organs left over after I farmed my Snow gorget up.
Went through something like 12 stacks in the first week or two easily, it does NOT double off your native double attacks/war charge/weaponskills/jumps.
Taru BLM, base MND - 59, how much is needed to cap stoneskin?
Fucking double post....
Sub RDM? and Enhancing is capped up to 37 RDM?
