Was curious if anyone had some strategies on Sheep in Antlion's blahblah soloing? I know it's been done but haven't really seen anything on how to actually do it. Mainly I'm looking for a job decision between RDM and SCH, SCH isn't 75 yet but will have above average gear when it gets there, RDM is geared to the teeth but Elvaan so not working with a whole ton of MP.

FFXIApp and sub NIN is the preliminary stuff. I think the basic idea is to CS Nuke/Sleep until he starts resisting then DoT the rest/melee/nuke. This is secondhand information though.

APRadar 3, use overlay radar. I'm sure rog or someone will chime in with strat, but as far as I know, pop it and kite it around the little pillar thing in the middle nuking when you get distance.

As an elvaan, you probably need apradar to solo reliably. Strategy:

Melon+1 outside, rest, enter, protect4, composure stoneskin phal haste refresh. Pop chainspell, aggro it, ichi/blizzard3 until it burrows. This should take 5 nukes if your gear is decent(novio shouldn't be required but other good gear should be.. use enough ele skill to not resist your mileage may vary with race/# of ice and int merits/etc). Immediately convert, stoneskin, and then rest. As soon as bind wears, go pop it again. Ichi as you see the animation strip your shadows, then slow(I prefer slow 1 to save mp), and alternate blizzard3 and utsusemi until it burrows. Full rest, stoneskin, repeat. You should be able to pop the fourth tuchulcha with roughly 300-400 mp as you'll be able to convert again before killing it. If you aren't using apradar, sleep hunters and learn the pop spots or you're pretty fucked. I've done it without radar as a taru with 8/8 mp 5/5 int 8/8 ele 5/5 ice 5/5 convert merits, though you need to have enough mp to kill it on one pool or you're fucked regardless. Sleeps can hurt that, as can having a low max mp in your nuking gear(which you're more prone to as an elvaan). Rog suggests kiting it around the pillar to avoid having to tank, I feel that's a crutch for a mediocre RDM. You can do it reliably without that, and if you get used to having to tank it you won't whine about being fucked when an add pops near the pillar(which happens 1/3 to 1/4 of the time and will get frustrating very fast).

I already used radar so got that setup, and yeah my MP is pretty abysmal as /NIN, about 630 without food but strong nuking gear, everything but Novio/Morri legs pretty much. Would something like Cherry Muffin+1 maybe be better than pies for the extra MP?

Otherwiki actually has a pretty decent video that shows how to do it.
If you use apradar its pretty much 100% win.
Kiting around the pillar lets you gain distance on it easily and you won't get hit at all unless you are stopping for blizzard3.

I'm currently leveling my RNG to 75, nearing 68 atm. It's not gonna ding into much, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good AH/fairly easily obtained gear set. Not really sure how to balance out my RACC/RATT etc 3; Mainly gonna be used for DI :3

Askar *can*, depending on acc; someone posted a nice little graph on it in media I think, a few days ago. Same thinking applies to Ace's. Denali lacks acc, and to have 3 attack compare to 1% haste is just such a bad situation it'll never happen, if it's even possible.

Question of my own: what spells will a 75drg normally set when /blu? I don't mind levelling another sub to 37, but spell learning is horrible and I don't wanna spend hours on things I won't need.

I'd strongly consider using the muffin. If you have 630 max mp in nuking gear, you're counting on all 5 bliz3s(600 mp) to land unresisted and you can only cast spells that have higher mp in their sets beforehand. I'd have to check, but I think mine is somewhere around 900 >_>

The main goal of /blu is cocoon and cheap spell for Healing Breath (Power Attack and Foot kick, 5 mp each). Then you have some job trait (mainly Auto-regen with Healing Breeze + Sheep song). Finally, Wild Carot is a good "independant" cure.
Sometimes, add.effect of spells can connect (even on IT monster like Aura Statue in Sky), so Head butt, sandspin and Sprout Smack can be useful.

On drg/blu, I usually set Cocoon, Healing Breeze + Sheep Song, Wild Carrot, Head Butt + Sprout Smack (which I cast to use Healing Breath, but I have ethereal earring + ares cuirass, so I can easily handle their mp cost) and some others spells for HP Bonus (Screwdriver, wild oats, etc.)

Cocoon, Sprout Smack, quick attacks like Foot Kick/Power Attack are your staples. Healing Breeze + Sheep Song gives you Auto-Regen which is nice. I've probably missed some and I'll let more experienced DRGs answer in more detail.

I registered and verified and whatever but whenever I try to send a PM to them on their page it asks me to verify my character again. I already waited and got the email, as well as having it under linked chars. So.. anyone have any idea?

Incidentally I had enough MP to pull it off with a nuke to spare during rounds, but during CS I was using my potency nuke set instead of my accuracy nuke set and saw a few resists, which cost me a few extra seconds...and:

There seems to be a dead fafnir on my screen in campaign in for KN(s). It wont despawn. Its been there for over a week. Yes I've shutdown the computer multiple times.

Is there a use to getting a pipers torque or can I enfeeble in temprance and buff in wind torque?

What Ive been trying to find out is this: should I have a enfeebling set with chr gear and a buff set with wind and singing plus gear?
