Awesome. Thanks.
Were you nuking the right element on each one? Pretty much all that matters on sky gods is nuking the element they're weak to (water on suzy, ice on seiryu, thunder on genbu). No matter how good your gear is, the resist rate is going to blow if you try nuking with anything else in my experience.
Resist rates are and always have been pretty "meh" on Sky gods, there's nothing much you can do about it.
I have a question for keyboard and gamepad controls.
So on my old gamepad, to execute a macro, I would:
Press R1 -> Use d-pad to select -> Press O to execute
I recently got a G13 which doesn't allow mapping of joystick buttons to the keys, so my question is, is there any way to mimic the "gamepad behavior" for executing macros on a keyboard? In other words, using only a keyboard, is it possible to:
Push key -> opens up palette and leaves it open -> use left and right keys to pick one -> push enter key to execute
I realize that the Alt+number way might be faster and I've tried it out but it just doesn't suit me. I guess I could always go back to the gamepad but I'd hate to have my new shiny collecting dust (although it works great for other games). Thanks to anybody who might be able to help.
Just noticed I posted in wrong thread...
I'm pretty sure there's two ways to use macros on the keyboard. The exact two you stated:
Alt/Ctrl + #
Alt/Ctrl (hold) -> up down left right arrows -> return key

Oh and as for Argettio
Correct spells aside, I suggest you drop some skill for INT.
Personally I use
307/143-317/148(ice staff) sometimes I use 314/140 instead
and it works for me but there is no combination of gear that will provide zero resists on a sky god
Are the Amphiptere in Glacier/Xarcabard [S] still "broken" in the sense that if you stand on their side they won't use TP moves?
Anyone know of a treasure pool viewer, I used to have one that tracked all the drops from the treasure pool and who got what. It is really helpful for keeping track of Dynamis and Salvage drops.
Anyone able to point me in the direction of a current RDM guide that isn't full of fail?
Look through pics of rdms and the comments they got instead of looking for a good guide among all of the shit that's out there. In my opinion, anyway.
Be useless til 41 ( IE cure whore)
@ 40 Cure + Convert

@ 50 Composure + Buff self > Haste + Refresh + Cure + Convert.
@ 75 Worry about merits and the following gear sets :
enfeeb skill / +mnd / + int /+mab / + fastcast/recast / -pdt / +mdb / + enmity / melee / idle .
Then post a pic of your gear sets in the what not to wear thread and see what they say about it.
I find Callysto's Guide to be both entertaining and informative.
he had me to here
Morrigan's Coronal: DEF: 15 MP+20 STR+4 INT+4 MND+4 Acc+5 Magic Acc+5 Set: Enhances Magic Attack Bonus. While having extremely nice stats, this is probably the only piece of Morrigan's Gear that is overshadowed by other pieces in the same slot. Duelist's is better for idle/enfeebling, Warlock's+1 for nuking. This still makes a great addition to your debuff potency set and is an upgrade over Nashira if you don't have Duelist's/Crimson.
I'd probably nuke in it over Warlock's +1 and depending on mob and situation might even throw it on there for some paralyze slow (if the mob is somewhat resistant but not overly resistant Hi2U Omega).
He also forgot aslan and gleeman capes >.<
Warlock's has more macc and int. Unless it's for the MAB bonus.. I guess.
Guide's pretty good; but I just skimmed through it. His idle in enfeebling torque/earring, omega ring, goliard feet, and witch sash is the only thing that threw me off. But it isn't that big of a deal(should be nodowa, PDT/MDT gear, or atleast mp+ things).
Also no 100% int rate set mentioned and it's a pretty neat to have.
