This serious is absolute garbage IMO. I don't care to start listing off the many reasons.

I'm still pissed about Too Human. Was fooled by Dyack's hype before I realized the game was utter garbage.
I enjoyed Fable II just because it had the name Fable II. I felt it wasn't that great overall; was hoping it would get better as it progressed, but alas, it didn't.
Fable II was way too easy to progress. I owned enough property within about 5 hours of playing it to be on cruise control throughout the whole game, which was disheartening.

I think Molyneux's PR people did put a bark collar on him for Fable 2. Not literally a bark collar (lol), but they made absolutely sure he didn't hype Fable 2 as much as he did Fable. I'm actually really excited about this after watching the trailer again and seeing those pics.
This doesn't sound very fun at all, unless you're running around doing stuff instead of actually just sitting around being a King/Queen. I didn't care for Fable 2 at all, and really don't see why its so hyped. I played the first one, and it wasn't as great as it was made out to be, but I enjoyed it a lot more than the second.
I liked playing Fable 2. I never once threw a temper at the game, and I never once rage-quit. That's probably the only reason I liked the game. Everything else just reminded me of the first (but with more glare for kewl effects!)
I felt the side-quests were highly limited and VERY repetitive (heck everytime a new one popped up it was the same damn one from an hour earlier). The only direction I could go was forward (in the story). The only thing I could do on the side was buy property and make money from smithing and wood working (Most monotonous mini-game ever).
Because of all this I'm not picking up Fable 3 unless somehow it delivers and haters become lovers.
for whatever reason I enjoyed Fable 1 a lot more than Fable 2, I don't think I really appreciated how they made it more into a life simulator than an action RPG. After 2 DLC's I'm tired enough of the series to say that unless Fable 3 does something to really captivate me I won't be picking it up.
Fable II was fun until you ran into the whole no penalty for dying thing, and of course, the ending. Molyneaux is the David Chase of the gaming world, and Fable II was his Soprano's finale.
One of the things that make me really excited about Fable III is that there is still sooo much room for improvement because as much as I loved Fable II was, it was still an extremely flawed game.
I mildly enjoyed Fable 2. It felt rather short and rather easy (I never had any issues with any bosses except the first encounter with the troll/bug thing). Replay sucked, even when trying to play the opposite end of the scale from full good to full evil.
The true major downfall was the unexpected multiplayer change. No one wants to be some sidekick or unknown guy. We were shown inviting players from the world and they could come and enjoy our world as we created it... That didn't happen.
Fable 1 was a good game. Fable 2 wasn't even a full game though, I'm sure it was even shorter than the first...?
Fable III to incorporate Natal? - GameSpot Rumor Control
Putting this in the proper thread because I'm a moron.
I really don't get the hype around that Project Natal nonsense.
