I ain't no trophy whore, just collect the easy ones. Warhawk has some ridiculous ones like to get to General, fuck that shit (months of work). I'm a 2nd Lieutenant and I'm halfway...

What's the hardest trophies you guys have acquired?

"Late Boomer" (Silver) on Super Stardust HD was the most frustrating trophy I *have* acquired, soon to be followed by "A Real Challenge" (Gold), which is to beat all 56 challenge rooms in Bionic Commando: Rearmed, and I'll tell you, that 56th room is nothing but maniacal with its extreme precision/timing required to beat.

Pretty much any of the Golds for WipeOut HD would follow under there too, but my hovering skills aren't up to snuff to get Arcade Perfect (cheap AI), Zone Zeus (can't keep alive past zone 65, and I need zone 75 for that), and Beat Zico (ha ha.....yeah, no).

Working on Madden currently. My only Platinum is in the WWE Legends of Wrestlemania game and it was pretty damn easy. I was close in RE5 but the highest difficulty level was screwing me up on a couple levels.

Yeah that late boomer trophy is a bastard. I managed to get Beat Zico in Wipeout HD with a LOT of training and perfectly timed barrel rolls... I thought the trophy icon for that was pretty cool too, lol

As for hardest for me? Hmm... Platinum on Mirror's Edge was extremely hard, those time trials and speed runs were a fucking pain. Aside from that, Beat Zico from Wipeout, A Real Challenge from BC:R, some PAIN! trophies, Unreal Tourny 3 beating the final boss on Insane difficulty, Killzone 2 Grand Valor Cross trophy wasn't hard so to speak, but it takes pretty much a week of almost straight playing. Can't think of any more off the top of my head.

as for hardest trophy... I haven't gotten it yet but I think that some of the Resistance 2 multiplayer trophies are pretty intense

Indeed it does. Some of the things you're asked to do (especially for RPGs) are things some of us did anyways cause we're perfectionist (hit level cap/optional dungeons/etc) when it comes to that stuff. Its just now you're rewarded, somewhat, for your efforts. Bragging rights get! 1000/1000 on ToV yo.

My only platinum so far is for Uncharted. The original run through of the game may be considered short, but when you are asked to explore the landscape looking for treasure it really gets you involved in the game. Uncharted is still probably my favorite PS3 game.

I'm close to platinum in resistance but the 10k kill trophy is fucking stupid, i'm still at 2k kills.

If Fallout3 didn't get the shit treatment on PS3 I'd have picked it up. Hoping it gets a proper patch + GOTY re-release with all the 360/PC DLC, and maybe I'll consider it.

New version being released in october I think or november that has all the dlc with it

Dude I have 0 platinum, 1 gold. As someone who has been an avid gamer for over a decade but literally can't focus on a game for more than 2 days, I empathize.
