Honestly, if that video was in game footage/sound, I would not get it just because of that fucking atom-bomb-dropping-whistling sound when people are knocked away really far. Most annoying shit ever.

GT characters will be for the next game, then what-if GT characters for the one after that. The next will be PS3 exclusive so they can fit more than 2 sagas in a game without cutting out a lot

GameStop is offering a "bonus" for those who pre-order the game from their stores. The "Raging Blast Special Pack" contains customized Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks and Gotenks in-game characters, as well as the ability to immediately play as Super Saiyan 3 Broly, one of the unlockable characters in the game. A downloadable demo will be available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on October 15th, 2009.

It better have more options than Burt limit's demo

There's less than a month left until PS3 and Xbox 360 get their next Dragon Ball game. Today, Namco Bandai provided us with a closer look at Dragon Ball Raging Blast, including a close-up look at the game's customization component and modes of play.

Raging Blast will allow you to customize your fighting game experience, right down to your special moves. You can change each characters' special moves and also select the required button combo. You'll earn new special moves by clearing events.

The game also offers more fine tuned character customization options via its Deck Customization system. By equipping the characters with items, you'll be able to modify them in such areas as attack, spirit and defense. The items can be obtained by trading in the D points you earn in the game's other modes. You position items in a graphical chart that's known as a Deck. Space is limited, and items have different shapes, so this system will require some amount of experimentation. Thankfully, the game provides copy and sort functionality to ease the process.

Joining the customization details, Namco Bandai provided a look at the various submodes that are included in the game's Super Battle Trial mode. You start off with five of these submodes, but will be able to unlock more as you progress.

Here's what you can expect

Arcade Mode
A 10 stage mode where you attempt to defeat your foes within 180 seconds. Available from the start.

Survival
Face off against enemy after enemy on the same map. The mode ends when your life drops to zero or you defeat 50 foes. With each win, your life recovers a bit. Avaialable from the start.

Time Attack
You clear this mode by beating five enemies on the same map. Your aim is to defeat everyone within 15 minutes. Available from the start.

Score Attack
A battle against a single foe on a single map. Your opponent does not incur damage. Your goal is to last for at least 300 seconds. Based off your score, you'll earn D Points. Available from the start.

KO Attack
Attempt to defeat as many opponents as possible in 300 seconds. Here, you're invincible and have a full spirit meter. Available from the start.

Destruction Score Attack
This mode is set in a city map and gives you a time limit of 300 seconds. You fight your foe like normal, but must also attempt to destroy as much of the map as possible.

Extreme Battle (Gyokugen Battle)
Battle 10 enemies in order of rank. There's no time limit for the battles. This mode offers extreme difficulty.

I wasn't really sure about the game until this post. Looks like there is enough different modes and customizations to make it quite replayable.
