I recommend changing some of the buttons on the controller and doing the dojo stuff to get used to the game.

Unless you're experienced with BT games too then you shouldn't have any problems with it but doing dojos nets you trophies/achievements for doing them.


Some moves in the game now require you to smash buttons to complete the attack, so no more L2+up trangle for a rush attack and afk, but some don't.

When you switch to change partners the opposing enemy can press their transformation button + a random button to try and stop that person from changing.

It will switch to them fighting in the air randomly and you tap buttons that appear on the screen to stop you from switching to someone else.

I have all of the BT games, but the demo seems to have slightly different controls. I'll probably change it.

I couldn't find it at blockbuster, anyway.

It wasn't even on the shelves yesterday, meaning it had to of been rented this morning. Five days from now, so I'll probably check again on Monday. Oh well.

I have the ps3 version.

I forgot to mention that the controls can't be changed that much.

Here is my setup:

L2 default - Descend
Mine - Transformations button

L1 default - Ascend
Mine - Block

R1 default - block
mine - descend

R2 default - transformations
mine - ascend

All of the other buttons are the same as the demo's setup.

You can change the ones only for what part it is sadly. I was wanting to change the power up button to L2 like the BT games but it wouldn't do it.

Pressing down on the D-pad isn't so bad actually and same for the specials on the right stick.

They had it for 360 at both blockbusters I went to, too. Not going to spend money enough to rent it and beat it twice, would more quickly buy it than do that.

What if they did split form (hell back in the day piccolo and even kirllen was doing it so i dobut the saiyans would have a hard time w/ it) then fuse twice while they're each split.

only fusions in this is gotenks(ssj,ssj3), vegito(base,ssj3), and gogeta(ssj)

I think he's referring to the fact that Gogeta was also a failed fusion, in the sense that most of the times it was attempted they ended up with things like Fat Gogeta or the elderly one. Gogeta became the successful fused form of Goku and Vegeta in the GT series. I can't recall if said fusion was ever successful outside of GT, but I can't recall any instances of it.

Wat. Gogeta was successful in Movie 12 if you count that toward any sort of canon material. The SSJ4 Gogeta in GT was the other use, but no one really counts SSJ4 or GT as a whole anyway. SSJ3 is the max it'll go and that's what I'm sticking to.

Haha nah I was definitely talking about the fat forms. They had pretty hilarious dialogue and although unlikely, I wanted to know if they might appear.

I hatr the english dub of DBZ they censor alot of the violence, change dialogue's meaning and worst of all replaced all that wonderfully emotionally charged orchestrated music with corny heavy metal. Frieza's original character theme is 10x more badass than the one in the dubbed version. ugh

Gotta keep it appropriate for the younger generations. You know, all those kids that will totally buy this game because they know what DBZ is and don't spend all their time watching shows like Bakugan and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's.
