I'd probably vote for SCH, maybe BLM. Since Galka have more strength on those jobs. RDM is already a fight to begin with cause they have lower elemental magic and so you really need all you can get MP/INT-wise to get more tier 3's out and less resists on em.

If you're only looking for something to bring to events than just do whatever is most fun.

On a sidenote: More MP is always better... for any race.

Galka does fine with any mage job. I would recommend SCH because of it's versatility and it's not quite as boring and repetitive as BLM (at least to me).

As a BLM and a (Dark Arts) SCH I'd say..

Level SCH

-You can be a great nuker if geared properly, and a awesome supporter when the time calls for it.

-The Innate bonuses from Light / Dark Arts coupled with the higher max sublimination do wonders for streching your MP pool.

-One of the better BLM's on my server is a galka, he outnukes most other BLM's due to putting the extra effort into gearing himself nicely.

Do RDM. When you can Cure, Convert, Haste and Refresh, no one will even care that you're a Galka.

Make sure to have all applicable subs, including DRK, for maximum utility.
