Good web host

My current web host plan is going to expire in a week and I'm looking to move to somewhere cheaper. I use dreamhost, but I only use a fraction of what they give me, so it's pointless to pay 10 dollars a month for it. It's also pointless to pay for that kind of space/bandwidth when dreamhost ended up being assholes if you used it to it's capabilities lol.

I had heard good things about 1and1, but that was years ago. Are they still good stuff? Or have they turned into assholes too? Right now they also have a special going on where you get one year free, so I'd be paying 60 dollars for two years.

Money is the big thing right now. Like, the 1and1 plan has 120gb space and 1.2 tb bandwith at 5 bucks a month, that's more than enough for me. Don't need uber space or uber bandwith. And I'd certainly be willing to sacrifice space/bandwith for a place that doesn't constantly go down and generally good people and such.

Any suggestions?

i use 1and1 right now. the only thing i dont like is how long it takes to create a database (5-10 minutes), but once its set up, it works fine.
