Don't buy a caddy that old. If you ever have a need to replace the suspension, you might as well get a new car because of the parts used. Its not fun having to get those pillow shocks or whatever the fuck they are.

I can see you want something nice (luxury car), but why are you going for cars with such high miles? You can get much more life out of a car for a lot less imo.

Air bag suspension? Not sure if caddys come with that or not, not even sure if that's what you're talking about. But yeah air bags are a bitch if they go out on you.

Yeah, the older model caddies have the air-bag/pillow/non standard suspension. Very very expensive to replace.

JDM or nothing yo! Seriously though, I'd look into a gas sipping Camry/Corolla/Accord/Civic. I'm sure you can get a decent one for around $4,000. It's definitely a buyer's market, unless you meet a really stubborn seller.

Do you have any places around your city where people tend to put their cars for sale? There is a street near me that has cars for sale lined up every Sunday. I'd check those out if I were you, usually those people sell for much cheaper. It isn't because the cars are bad or anything, but those people don't resort to online ads and more than likely don't look up stuff on KBB.

I know lincoln does a lot of fleet sales to rental agencies, not sure if this model is one of those cars. Models that are used as rentals, even if the particular car never was a rental will always book low.

no its not, my car is from 2004 and still worth 15-17k. Some cars don't depreciate as quick as others.
