    2 coins is random armor of the rank 9 green set, 4 coins is random weapon (i think)

    Asmo version is in Impetuisim. 5k per turn in + killing 22 mobs. I'm just doing this and passing up on the Black Claw quests for now

    Just curious, but are people still having problems with lag and staying connected to the open beta that's happening this week? I know when it went live it was horrible, but then it seemingly cleared up(according to some of my friends). I am still having a lot of problems with it, and am curious if others are as well.

    I am willing to concede it may be my computer, but I wouldn't know how to explain it working fine for a couple nights then back to crap.

    Im running it fine now. Yesterday was still kinda crappy, but today was fine.

    Had a bit of sputter now and then earlier, but couldn't tell you if it was them progressively buffing the servers in response to server load or people partially giving up on things thinking they'd be better come release.

    Just feels weird rubberbanding after 6+ years of FFXI. Last time I really fought with it was playing D2.

    The lag comes and goes for me. I do constantly have a small amount of lag that never goes away, really only noticeable when I pull a mob and it suddenly pops next to me instead of actually walking.

    But earlier tonight I was killing elites with friends and it went down the shitter. It would freeze up for 5 seconds, everything would suddenly happen, then it would freeze up again... rinse and repeat. Sucks when you're the only healer and you wipe your group because of this damn lag. At times it would lag almost a full minute before everything caught up with me. :\

    ffxi doesn't rubberband because the server trusts the client unconditionally and just warps your character around when you lag, which is why pos hacking is so easy

    Is it just me, but when you do lag, does it seem like you don't auto-attack? I know the brunt of damage comes from skills, but I've had lag fits where when it kicks back despite me facing the mob whole time, their HP moved little, if at all, while I could look like a bloody mess.

    When you lag, you just stand there and get your face beat in; I saved a few people one day when I wasn't lagging and most people still were
