I got the patch through the launcher at about 800k/s, fast enough >.>

It seems that the download through the launcher is available. Not sure if it has been. I tried earlier and nothing. The connection is iffy. It pooped out on me but I reconnect at 100-300KB/s+ from my crappy 20-50KB/s+ earlier.

It was nice to see they're giving us an extra 6 hours on the beta, but 2 hours for maint + download time will probably more than take up most of that. Still like the fact they extended it even the slightest to compensate.

The patch is 618.3MB exactly.

I was expecting a lot worse but it only took me about 30 mins to download off the launcher. What time do the servers come back up?

I figured as much, but it was probably being pounded which is why I couldn't even get it to come up.

Jeez. Everytime my connection dies, it restarts even higher. That time I was up to 800KB/s and it died again. Wonder what it will restart at this time. I'm at 17% so far.

Edit: I believe the post on their site said 2 hour maint. So in about 15 minutes is the time they gave. Not sure if it got extended.

I am now, however, getting a Gameguard error... which i had yet to have ever been lucky enough to get. Yay?

EDIT: Clearly that site is wrong though, from what i am reading. Also not the only one getting the Gameguard error it seems.

I got that GameGuard update failure error once, but I tried again a few minutes later and it worked.

Just took a look at the new "greater" vendors for AP gear, some of the shit is insane. Like, the level 50 greatsword has a fucking circular saw on the end of it; and when you go to attack stance it spins @_@;

I was peeking at those the other day. Wasn't caring so much about the stats as I was the looks. Elyos one is up the stupid elevator in the craft hall, the NPC itself being in one of the small side rooms up top.

Fort Sieges. You get awarded medals based on how much damage (or healing) you do to the Fortress Guardian.
