I haven't had it installed in a long ass time but I don't remember it being over 12 GB or so for all of FFXI up to and including WoTG. All the install discs are 5 GB and unpacking/patching it to even 15 GB would be really pushing it.

Once it's in your steam games menu, right click and view CD key.

/shrug, I just uninstalled about 2 weeks ago, each expansion was 9 gigs for me.

The size shows up under each expansion as the total size, means it only took 9 gigs with all expansions

Each ffxi xpac was under 1Gig from the install disk... Wotg was like 310 megs

it might be trying to save to the aion file under all programs or whatever that is and it's not overlapping it. try saving it to an empty folder? I dono :S

I preordered the CE from NCsoft... hopefully I get a beta key :X

They are giving away tons and tons of keys, they just don't want anybody w/ the slightest interest in the game playing for the OB week... not smart marketing strategy if they let anybody and everyone play, especially when the game doesn't need a "real" beta anyways since its 90% just localization and a few other minor tweaks.

I disagree. The only thing that's going to get me into this game is if I can see a bit more of it for myself. Playing a week of the beta could be what makes me buy the game, as currently I don't plan to. I'm downloading the client, trying to find some place to get a key.

The cbt>obt torrent has definitely been going much faster. Finished that this weekend and have been seeding it, but working on the full install torrent now and about a third done. Of course my old spare pc I use to torrent has a shitty wirelessB card that loses connection so fast I had to make a scheduled task to restart it after its been idle for 2 hours...

um ok? Go to a brick and mortar store and put 5$ down and play for OB week. That way if you don't like it you can transfer that 5$ to another game. They don't "owe" you a trial period to ensure you like you a game before you buy it. You make it sound like they "should" let you play for free or you won't try the game. That's fine, but it's your choice also

I was being a smart ass to his response to my post 2 pages ago lol, or he can do that... but putting 5$ down on a game in a brick & mortar is pretty much playing for free since the only places that require you to make the full purchase from a pre-order is online stores (afaik)
