The items are linked to your Serial Code. At least, that's how I understood it. Each character you create will have access to the items too, not just the first. You might wanna swap with your brother ;x

Well they made a few things default when you first start the game, such as there is no click to move and left click moves your camera.

You can turn it back on but it's off by default.

Speaking of, I have an extra key from the last closed beta if anyone wants it. I'm not sure if it will work, but they said all preorder/cbt keys are already good for obt so I don't see why it couldn't be used.

I think click to move makes certain things much easier in this game (hi to you flying combat). But other times it can get in your way

If you bought it through an online vendor then that key is your actual game key. Go log into your NC Soft master account and click Add Serial and plug that key in to create your Aion account. That Aion account is now flagged for the open beta and your retail headstart.

That's what I did right when I downloaded it and activated it, on my first 2 preview weekend account on mistake. When I tried to make a different account with the key it's declined so I assume I'll be using that account then?

Pre-order is putting $5 down, which you can later move onto something else, or get back all together. (from gamestop) Just went there yesterday and moved my $5 reservation from Aion to Dante's Inferno since I bought CE off their website.

With this new error of the game being "not available in your country" that I have, I really don't want to put the money down to pre-order. Who knows if it'll even actually run when the game is released. Hell, I can't even get into C-aion anymore and I have around 50 hours to use up there still.
