    USB power limit

    Hey there. I just bought a new netbook and I want to transfer the stuff I care about from my old laptop to it. A USB external drive is too power hungry for my ports to handle so I was wondering. If I get a 16Gb Flash Drive after returning the external will I be alright with that?

    Hmm, if I remember my physics correctly, are you trying to tell me the flash drive uses 24x less power than the HDD? If so, then thanks.

    No, I mean that's the power limit of USB.
