DIRT 2 demo now live on Xbox Live

This game is the pinnacle of offroad racing in my mind. Demo apparently featuring offline racing and an online race, which should be exciting to see. The first DIRT was pretty incredible, even though I found the career structure to be bland (which is was apparently taken into consideration in 2)

I played the demo on the PS3, thought it was ok, but I like the fact that it actually uses PS3's in-game screenshot function more games need to use that.

They've released it on EU PSN earlier than US, probably beacause Codemasters is a British company.

Hurray, EU version will be called "Colin McRae: DIRT 2". Now they should get rid of all boring off-road junk and make it a true Rally Championship simulation again.

Couldn't agree with these 2 statements. Probably going to pick up DIRT2 just to satisfy my need for rally racing.

not sure why not much action on this thread but rented this a couple of days ago and have been playing the shit out of it

kind of repetitive when you get higher up and some of the tracks are pretty fucking intense (here's looking at you japan) but super fun so far. lots of car choices, fairly easy to get loot, lots of different types of challenges, seriously awesome gfx, nice interface, fairly quick load times

100% play go and get this
