Can't believe no one has mentioned it, but if you can find it...
Virtual On.
I have it and I spent like 80$ on the dual joysticks for the arcade like feel, it's fucking amazing.

Pretty much any 2D fighter made for it...over half my DC collection is that, lol.
Much like the Saturn before it, it got the good ports.
Metropolis Street Racer: One of the best driving games ever in my opinion. Incredible dynamic day/night cycle, stunning soundrack, beatiful graphics and beautiful cars.
Shenmue 1&2.
Soul Calibur: Best of the series, in my opinion. Quest mode is flawless.
Sonic Adventure 1&2: Best Sonics ever.
Crazy Taxi
Skies of Arcadia: Defninitely don't miss this one, its DC exclusive and its just purely awesome.
Grandia
and...
Ecco the Dolphin: Must buy if you haven't played it for ps2. One cannot have a Sega console without an Ecco game.
Guilty Gear X: One of the best 2d fighters EVER. Again, I believe this may have a ps2 version too.
Don't forget Star Gladiator 2 aka Plasma Sword
Charge n Blast
Cannon Spike
Gigawing 1 and 2
Tech Romancer
As for the games working, If your PC can run it check the isos on nullDC to see if they work, if they do it can be a problem with your drive or discs.
MSR and... PSO of course![]()
More importantly, they lowered the silly encounter rate on DC.
Wow, I totally missed that one.
PSO offline was fun, but gets redundant after awhile. I'd get the gamecube version and coax some friends into playing with me personally.
I loved the Record of Lodoss War game. Very Diabloesque.
Gauntlet Legends is pretty fun if you have friends to play with.
As much as I love Shenmue, don't play it. 'Cause you'll beat the two games, and then get incredibly pissed that they never finished the series.
I wasn't a big fan of Shenmue. I loved the fighting sequences in it, but it was just so drawn out and boring. And also do NOT get Shining Force III for it. That game was supposed to be released in three chapters. The first one is the only one that was ever released for US audiences. Imagine playing FFVII and having it end at the end of disc one. I loved Working Designs titles, especially the Shining Force series. Not the "new" Shining Force series, but the Final Fantasy Tactics like ones. These new ones make me want to punt a baby into a blender for destroying the legacy of what were some amazing games.
Goddamn I can't get enough of Mars Matrix, I know DC has a shitton of more good shooters right? Ikaruga wouldn't work for some reason though, would just make a strange noise and I want to turn it off asap lol.
NBA 2K1 is the best basketball game ever made.
World Series Baseball was fucking awesome in every way shape and form.
Ikaruga
Bangai O
Gunbird 2
Castle of Shikigami 2
Border Down
Twinkle Star Sprites
Psyvariar II
GigaWing 1 & 2
Trizeal
Chaos Field
Zero Gunner 2
Under Defeat
There's some good homebrew shmups too, but I've never seen any of them to comment on. I'd really suggest trying to get Ikaruga working, the hype behind it is there for a very good reason.
Edit: Whoops, almost forgot one. Cannon Spike.
