I think that Final Fantasy XII is the only video game that ever just had me in the zone for that final battle.

The music for that fight does not work so well out-of-context but when that fight is going... this shit is off the chain.

I've done that a grand total of maybe 3 times and I never did anything with the videos other than delete them.

i've been turning off video game music and playing with CDs/ipod since i was like 12. i guess because super nintendo music generally was less jazzy and exciting (and i also played a lot of fucking tetris), so by the time anything worth listening to rolled around i was already in the habit of playing with my own music. it helps me concentrate better most of the time and i already know i'm going to like what's on.
