PS+ discounted items are yours permanently. It's only the 'free' items that require a maintained subscription.

On that note, where the fuck are the DLC sales? PSN/XBLA are so god damn allergic to them. "Hey, the base game is $5! .......and the DLC combined for it is $40!".

PS+ sale discounts are just discounts, if you actually pay for a game, it's always yours, no further PS+ required.
This is why they warn about buying DLC for your PS+ free games, you keep access the DLC, but can lose access to the game it's for.
