Well, you could also play Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 1-3, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, Demon's Souls, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Infamous 1 & 2, Valkyria Chronicles, and you know, a bunch of other fun stuff.

You can occasionally catch it on sale at Target or Best Buy. I picked up mine for $170 in August and Target had it for $160 back in March, I think. The 3DS XL

This isn't exactly A game deal, but since we don't have a random question thread for gaming I'll ask here. When I went on to pay off some PS4 stuff a few weeks ago they mentioned I had 34k points available to spend and recommend me using some of the coupons you can buy with them, I said I'd probably use them for PSN money cards for the indies and he said good idea; nothing stupid so far. Today I redeemed 30k of those points only to be told that PSN money cards, PS+ sub cards, the Xbox equivalents, and any "redeemable" purchase are considered DLC therefore I can't use the coupons to buy them. That staff there didn't seem to want to help me in the first place and only wanted to push the buy 2 get 1 free promo on me instead. Does anyone work there that can confirm this or just can confirm it otherwise? It says nothing of the sort on the coupon itself and the redemption page only mentioned DLC with no sort of qualifier. Considering a subscription card or a money card as DLC seems kind of stupid, but I'm wondering if anyone else had any experience with this.

The coupon is money off a purchase (most common). It shouldn't matter what is purchased, and all restrictions are listed on the coupon. It should be noted that Season Help is active now.

Edit: Apparently, there are coupons that specifically say "digital content".

So did you spend the points on non-item specific coupons that were like $-off? I think to do what you were intending the coupons had to specifically be for those things. Asking someone, but what you could try to do is use the coupons towards gamestop gift cards if they'd let you?

The coupons were the $10 off one item of your purchase. I ended up going to do a different store where the manager is a lot cooler and is much better about customer service. The first thing he asked me was if they tried it and when I said no, he grabbed the card, tried and lo and behold it worked. He called the other story and nicely told them to get their shit straight. Had to go with the $20 cards since they don't carry $10s, but I didn't really care since I got to use them :D

That's what I would have done, too! Both as the customer and as the employee. Glad it worked out for you!

yeah basically it only works with the physical cards, not the codes. also, they should have recently gotten in $10 PSN cards too.
