On the one hand, yes, it does. On the other hand, they gave people ffxiv, a game you can only play by paying more money than the whole fucking bundle costs to begin with. There really are no exceptions for what a horrible, scummy move that is. And to hide it behind a "lol no refunds" wall just proves they were aware of it.

Amazon Prime just got a new bonus very similar to the Best Buy program. All pre-orders or games bought within 2 weeks of release will be 20% off. Automatically applied at checkout. This worked for the Lucas Amiibo for me as well. 59.99 = 47.99 after discount. 39.99 = 31.99 After discount.

Depending what you buy, the Best Buy thing can still be significantly cheaper. Obviously new titles will be competitive, but BB is fantastic about niche older titles. Things like Nier, Drakengard 3, Resonance of Fate, White Knight Chronicles 1/2, Tales of Vesperia, and a whole bunch of other stuff are generally 20-30 on Amazon (50 for WKC2), and 10 on Best Buy. Luckily they're so much cheaper that it's still better even without their gamer club card.
