Didn't think this deserved its own thread, but I didn't really have a place to put it, and I thought people should know

Gamestop is apparently not accepting RRoD Xbox 360's anymore. Went today with a friend to trade one in, and they asked if it was ringed, and also added that 3 days ago that they sent a company wide E-mail stating that if its ringed, then no trade in. Long story short, his xbox was the E-74 error (I think it is?) and everything was cool.

Guy said it was company wide though, but this was coming from a gamestop employee, so 'grain of salt' etc etc.

Ended up trading Tekken 6 +$20 for Bayonetta at gamestop. Deal ends on the 23! (I believe) so be sure to get in on this deal if you have tekken sitting around. (I say tekken since its the cheapest of the trade in games they offer in this deal)

Normal mode is fine (like the arcade), but the damn story mode has issues.... the lack of the ability to move fluidly is annoying... if you get in range of people it locks on one of them. I miss the old beat-em-ups. No locking on, you can move wherever you want on the screen

I'm aware u can hold a button and move around, but still sucked imo.

Not really a "deal" per se, but just wanted to remind people some amazing deals can be had if you're smart and patient on craigslist. Just bought a 120gb PS3 slim with less than 40 hours of use (looks brand new), HDMI cable, MGS4, Resistance: Fall of Man, Motor Storm, and 3 PSN games (including FFVII) for $275. The system itself would have been over $320 after tax here in TX, so it's like getting the system for $50 off and getting all the other stuff for free.

I was thinking MAG, but you have to pay for shipping which is $3. Plus Amazon has it for $56.99 with free shipping and a $10 gift voucher towards future game purchases, so I'll probably go with that

I'm looking into getting a 360 but not sure which bundle to get. It seems cheaper to get the elite bundle and try to sell the games than to buy the arcade and have to buy a HD for it. Any opinions?

Don't waste your money on an Arcade, if you want to get an Xbox, get an elite.

Also just fyi, the games that come in the elite bundle are usually 2 games in 1 box. The Pure/Lego Batman holiday bundle is just one box, with a cover on each side. Just so you know in case you want to sell the games (I was gonna do the same until I bought the bundle and realized this).

EDIT: I should say unless you plan on hacking the thing, then by all means get an Arcade
