Been looking to buy a PS3 for the past week but all the Gamestops / everywhere else within a 50 mile radius is sold out constantly. Any tips where to get one / get a good deal? Don't want to go craigslist route, would rather buy new, and want a slim 120.
Your not going to find a "deal" on a new PS3 right now, if you even find one at all. Your going to pay 300 for it, its to be expected right now. I would recommend trying amazon or bestbuy, buying online might be your best bet.
i agree with that, i got my ps3 a lil more then a month ago and no one had the 120 gb and i had to buy the 250 gb, so try online and hope you can find
How do you figure?
I was thinking about trading in NFL 2010 (because it'll be like 4 bucks 3-4 years from now) and SSBB cause i never play them (don't want to)
Would this still be a bad deal on my part.
(I mean, of course it's bad for me business wise since they'll slap a sticker for nfl 2010 for 50 bucks and SSBB for 50ish too)
Well Madden I know trades in for 18. What the hell is SSBB? Im guessing blazblue?
I would say that one is about the same amount.
Say 36 for both, add 50% to that. Giving you 54 in store credit, leaving you to pay 10 and some change instead of 20 + tax.
Also yeah, their giving 18 for madden and reselling it for 55, still, lol.
With the 50% extra they have going on currently, that 2 for 40 off GOW/FF isnt a good deal at all.
Thanks for the explanation.
Also, thanks for saving me some money in the long run lol
Guess I'll buy MAG as well as GoW3.
Nice, I never really pay attention to trade-in offers when they aren't for specific deals so I totally missed that.
Oh also, forgot to mention, if you by chance have an edge card or have a friend with one, that stacks and will get you another 10%.
How much (or whats the catch) is it to sign up for an edge card now-a-days? I had one ages ago before I learned about Gamefly. I'm thinking of trading in MW2/KZ2/Resistance2/MGS4 myself here very soon.
I believe mine ran me $3 to sign-up for, and the catch is that it has to be renewed within a year. I purchased a used game that same trip, and the discount offered on the card offset the price of the card itself, so it was a win-win for me.
(although I rarely buy used games unless it's either rare, or the price is too hard to ignore)
