One of the very few games I ever purchased for $70 where I had zero qualms about paying that much when I put the game down.

Supposedly its buy 1 get 1 40% off all PS3 and Xbox(for the 4th time in 3 months?) at TRU. I dont remember seeing signs yesterday but the email blast definently says 6/6-6/12, in-store only o.o
Just noticed ff13 is Amazon's gold box of the day, $36, not sure if that's a good deal or not.
It's only for another hour, though.
PS3 for $200

It looks like Sony isn't so sure of how much a PlayStation 3 costs these days, as their very own website lists the PS3 starting at just 199.99 USD. The price in the actual shop is correctly listed as 299.99 USD, but on the list of 3D-compatible products at the bottom of an informational section this little oversight is hidden. Or perhaps it's actually a harbinger of the first price cut in over half a year. For now we can only hope to see this 199.99 USD price tag become a reality.

i wonder if they will honor it.
It says starting at, and you can't actually try to buy one for that price.
Wonder if they're going to come out with a cheapo version or something.
Personally betting its an error with where its pulling the data.
Looks like they have the ability to turn on dynamicpricing and replace these "starting prices" if they choose to through this function.Originally Posted by source
Still betting its an error though I can't see where they are pulling the $199 from. (seeing as that is a $100 drop... and ps3's are still sold out pretty much everywhere. No need to raise demand)<script type="text/javascript">
// Create the object class
var dynamicPriceObject = new DynamicPrice();
/*
Format Price when price is pulled
*/
//Hide all the starting at price using the dynamic Price Object
$$('.dynamicPrice[data-dynamicPriceCallBackFunc!=""]').invoke('hide');

PERHAPS NOT?
With the big E3 Expo set to kick off in just four days, we must admit to being more than a little intrigued at finding a new PS3 model bumble its way out of the FCC test labs. PlayStation 3 models CECH-2501A and CECH-2501B are both certified for 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR differing only in hard disk drive configurations. We're also seeing a pair of PS3 DECH-2500A and DECH-S2500A debugging stations -- interesting since a debug unit is typically only required when there's been a change in the chips on the motherboard. Feel free to speculate as we prepare for E3 to kick off on June 15th.

I still think $100 price drop is insane considering the current demand for ps3's already being higher than supply.
I didn't really like the game all that much but gamestop has Crisis Core for PSP used on sale next week, $9.99
edit: bayonetta new for 29.99 for xbox360 too, dunno about ps3
also silly question but if anyone sees either Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition or Afrika on sale for $20 or less, lemme know![]()

In the ad for Best Buy next week, Blur is $39.99.
Next week, Blur is in the RZ Coupons for an additional $10 coupon.

Also (expiring 6/30), there's the Manufacturer Coupon for an additional $20 off.

Thus, YMMV since they probably shouldn't accept either or both coupons technically, you get Blur for $10.

Starting tomorrow and going until July 17th is the yearly clearance sale at TRU. Tomorrow is 25% off and theres no indication if it will be going up at all throughout the 3 weeks. Tons of games were marked clearance monday including a lot of newer games. Some of these include Bayonetta, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Silent Hill Origins, Dragon Age Origins: Awakening, Just about every PSP game besides MGS, Just about every PS2 game, a buttload of DS games, and more. All stores have their own clearance count, so just because one store may not have much doesnt mean that another store doesnt have a lot more.
And then Sunday to next Saturday is buy 1 get 1 40% off (like, the 8th time this year) on all PS3, PS2 and PSP games. Do the sales stack? Maybe. They did last year. But I'll have to find out. I'd love to get MGSeacewalker and Phantasy Star Portable for barely 10 dollars.
Then blah blah gift card with lego harry potter blah blah sin and punishment.
TRU = Toys R Us?
yes
also I was going to post this earlier, but Amazon's Deal of the Day are Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions and Crisis Core, for $12.99 each.
if you buy both you can get free shipping!
In case anyone else missed the $30 12-month XBL sales going on recently, OfficeDepot has a $10 off $25 coupon out right now that essentially brings it down to $30 and some change. Few other deals that popped up recently as well:
- Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Subscription Card $31
- (old model) Xbox 360 Elite Splinter Cell Conviction Bundle: 250GB Console w/ HDMI + 2 Wireless Controllers + Game $250
- Resident Evil 5 (PS3) $17
