Next week is finally the return of the buy 2 get the 3rd free on all games at TRU (Oct 10 - Oct 16). This year it is once again extended to all accessories (<3 my Dual Shock 3's) and lolteeshirts(supposedly a bunch will drop for all your favorite xbock games).

Now the real question is, will this stack with the clearance sale that is still going on until the 14th? Last Sony sale (buy 1 get 1 40% off) did stack with clearance, so you could get stuff like Dante's Inferno for 15 dollars.

Idk what I plan to get, as I'm already knee deep in games i haven't beaten :\ I COULD get the 2 Move controllers I wanted and get something else thats 50 dollars for free, just don't know what.

2 move controllers + nav controller perhaps? I still don't have the camera for it however. Guess you would be taking a $20 hit if you went with the nav controller. Still would be useful though.


Gah, too bad. Nyko's 4 controller charger for the move does not come out till the 26th apparently. That + 2 nav controllers would be a good deal. (all 3 are 29.99) otherwise u could do 2 nav controllers + the 2 port charger (1 move + nav, or 2 move + 0 nav)

Edit: theres also 20% off any one item in email and a straight-up 25 dollars off any Wii system(lol?) that goes from Today to Monday the 11th. Hopefully the clearance will stack with the coupon AND the bogo. God I'm going to have too many games....3d Dot Game Heroes for 25, Lost Planet 2 for 21, Bayonetta for Free? Or maybe Bioshock 2? I even thought about getting Sega Racing for the trophies.

woops, fixed that. I believe the $20 coupon is for use on a future purchase only, though they've been giving them away like crazy so you could likely use a previous one on this and still get another coupon.

How do you join this kmartgamer thing? Do you need to join it? Sounds like a consumer-review program. Mentioned a lot... but no damn info if you need to sign up for something or not.

those are just the normal in-store game sales, you don't need to sign up for anything. You buy the game and it spits out your coupon, which activates the sunday following the game's release and is good for a month (so the $20 coupon you get from vanquish will be good from 10/24 to 11/21).

Caiyuo is right though, you can use coupons on future new release titles that also give coupons, so you can conceivably get the new Assassins Creed or Call of Duty (both of which will definitely have coupons, probably 20 bucks) for 40 bucks and still get another coupon for the following week.

The only downside to buying games at kmart is the occasional customer service or game allotment/distribution issue but they seem to be getting better.

Btw they also have a promotion on Fallout New Vegas this week, if you buy the game you get another 20 dollar coupon off a future purchase. You can't use the fallout coupon to get vanquish for cheaper (or vice versa) because of the delay, but you could have 40 bucks in coupons to spend starting next week. You wouldn't get the preorder outfit though, since Kmart isn't participating.

Is this specific to certain stores? I just went to the local Kmart and guessing it wouldn't pan out well (it's super run-down) they said there was no -$30 off promo, just the $20 gaming coupon, so I left. The next closest is half an hour away and the mykmart.com find-a-store doesn't show anything nearby while the actual kmart.com site lists both local stores.

did you try having them ring up both things and press total? A lot of times the employees have no clue what's going on, so chances are you'd have to see how it works at checkout. The 20 dollar coupon doesn't even print out til after your receipt btw, so you definitely have to make sure you actually get it after the transaction too

I asked if she'd ring them up to see if it'd process and she just repeated that the deal wasn't in the circular. I'll probably just call either that store or the other and see if they can actually check on the deal before going there again. Kind of poops that this isn't available online. I'm reading the CAG thread for this deal and it's echoing what you said about clueless employees. I sort-of expected Kmart to put an emphasis on this with their employees if they're offering deals so often now.
