Amazon is doing video game sales for the gold box deals all day on tues, the full day deal is dragon age 2 for $40, looks like blob 2 is going to be the first 1-2 hr sale.

I believe TRU is doing bogo50 on the 3ds games Sunday and a trade-in bonus for your old system up to $75(probably for the xl).

Either way, we have tons of 3ds games for the launch, not just nintendogs. Should be a decent sale, especially if you aren't getting anything for your money anyway.

Pixel density on the touch screen is higher on the 3DS than any of the DS, so it'll be fucking tiny on that screen (which is smaller than the one on the DSi) running unscaled.

I've seen DS games running on a 3DS in person and in a couple stores. I think people are really just trying to find something to bitch about with the system, it's nowhere near as bad as some people are making it out to be.

I am still torn about spending another 20 bucks to buy Batman AA for the 3rd time (already bought it for 360 and then switched to the PS3 version) just so I can play in 3D

Don't bother, it's very weak and hardly noticeable. It's not full 3D anyways, the method they use just separates elements from the scene using the one render to save processing power. The thing could have really used a slider for increasing the eye separation.
