I haven't played 2. I pre ordered 1 and was so excited hoping it would be like a FF game in length. Beat it in 3 days? Waste. $13 would be ok for a spin.

Forgot to mention, got a $20 off games coupon from Kmart when purchasing Madden 12.

Not sure what I'll use it for. I think it expires 10/25/11. Was considering getting GTA4. I've never been a huge GTA fan, but I did like San Andreas. GTA 4 worth getting? I'd get New Vegas if it wasn't $19.99

if you liked any of the earlier GTAs at all you'd probably love it... i 100%'d GTA3, didn't play the next two all that much, and then 100%'d GTA4

I liked GTA4 too and I was never a big GTA fan either. In fact, it was the first one I had purchased. Game had some decent length to it and it was quite a bit of fun. Got it for the PS3 though so I don't think there was any DLC available for it at the time. (Still might not be.)

Rockstar is having a big Xbox Live sale on DLC. GTA4, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, and Midnight Club DLC is half price. A good time to pick up Undead Nightmare for RDR if you haven't already.

Er... GTA4 has DLC. The Lost and the Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony. They sell it both as a download or a separate disc.

Just a shame PS3 users had to wait over a full year for them courtesy of Microsoft's timed exclusivity bullshit.

Anyways, not exactly much of a 'deal', but anyone looking into purchasing Sony's 24" 3DTV ($499) in November/December can get a free copy of Resistance 3 with it if they pre-order it from GameStop.

Why GameStop is actually supplying this TV aside from its obvious gaming intentions I dunno, but getting $100 in games (Motorstorm:Apoc & R3) along with it helps justify the price a little more for me since I badly need a replacement monitor for the one I had die on me two months ago.

Beats paying shipping fees at any rate since I doubt hardly anywhere in Canada will even stock the thing.

It's not bad honestly, I can see the draw to the whole SimulView thing that they've been pushing on it, but I just can't rationalize paying $500 for a 24" TV, even if it does come with free vidya. I'd love to pick one up when the price drops though, since the splitscreen thing seems pretty cool.

Gamestop aims to go to more of a electronics retailer..... than just a game retailer now.

Now idea how they are pulling that off, but rumors are they are even developing their own tablet lol

I put a pre-order on one just in case, but I'm mainly waiting to hear word as to whether or not it'll accept a 120hz signal from a PC also.

I want to see what it's like playing a shooter at 120fps....., or playing any of my PC games in 3-D. The TV is a replacement monitor for me, I want to be able to fully utilize its functions in a PC enviroment as well as for my PS3. Is the only way I'll get my $500 worth out of it.

Monitor prices have sure come a down a lot over the past four years. Paid $349 for my 24" 3 years ago because it was the only model I could find that was 1920x1080 or above, and had an HDMI port on it. Nowadays I could get an equivalent for a third of that if I look hard enough.

Does anyone know if the Amazon preorder bonuses, only take affect when you place the order, or if they add a better bonus latter will it be added to my order? I have to use to my $20 credit by the end of October and I'm thinking of just throwing it on a preorder now and forgetting about it; the only problem is, it doesn't have a credit on it at the moment. So do I need to hold out as long as possible or will it auto apply it for me?

Not sure if this is a specific deal, but has anyone had any experience with www.discdirect.net? For example, they are selling white knight 2 at $39.50 here http://www.discdirect.net/products/W...4JY4YBL02.html

Seems a little too good to be true, and the site looks kinda shady. But they have the most random of stuff. Resistance 3 for $38 is another example.

Edit: A little more digging and most people have that the site has poor reputation. So yeah, stay away then I suppose

Same old same old every week:

TRU has 15$ gift cards when you buy EA sports games- Fifa 12(out today), Madden 12, NCAA 12 and NHL 12. There is also a voucher(i think) for a free download of the Fifa 10 app for Andriod market.

TRU then has $25 gift cards for buying Xmen Destiny(looks like classic Activision), The new Cabella, Driver, Dead Island(i only got $15 when i bought it!), and Black ops.

Of course, KMart is just as good:
