So I've played and loved the hell out of Ys Seven on the PSP. I saw Steam has two Ys games (Origins and The Oath in Felghana).
I was planning to wait until they go on sale before purchasing them. Has anyone played either and can say if they are worth getting? They are pretty cheap already but I already have a few games I need to play before buying the two Ys games.

But yes.
Absolutely worth it.
This is not a deal post but a game buying question
I've been playing Splinter Cell and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow back on the old Xbox when i was young.
I've seen the HD collection for PS3 today at 20$.
Is it a good buy or will it fuck up my memories of those games?
Thanks
Depends if you can put up with shit frame-rate (it doesn't keep a stable 30fps at all) and the game possibly corrupting its own save file, which happened to me three times on my first playthrough of the first Splinter Cell. Also a couple visual quirks that weren't in the original game (NPC mouths don't open/close smoothly for instance) but otherwise it's basically a port of the PC versions.
The games overall hold up well though if you can ignore some low-polygon level geometry goodness in the first game. Just be sure to make backups of your save to USB in the offchance your save eats itself like has happened to me.
Wow lol i guess i won't buy it heh
Thx for the tips

Really want to play Kingdoms of Amalur, but I'm still going to hold out. With 38 gone belly up, I assume that game will tank in price at some point soon.
