Anyone has a link to anywhere where it tells you what installing actually saves time on, so far most of my loading screens have still taken the whole 100% load time and said installing whilst loading. Just wondering what doing the big update actually did. Since i have an old and fatPS3 i don't have all that much space on there anymore.

Overall think the game is great though, money seems pretty easy to get but the exp system they have in place seems to cockblock you enough from buying supercars straight away to ace the game in a day. The only thing i dislike about the game at the moment is the NASCAR, it doesn't seem to feel right when riding in one of them for some reason

Is the long ass install the "Update" or something else?

I've got a 130mb or so install going that seems stuck at 80min for an eternity.

The 130mb is for unlocking the online portion. Installing the game is completely different thing.

The initial install is 6.4gig, after that it still installs shit up to 10gig for shit you unlocked like new tracks and stuff. After all that is done, it should be faster, but I get mixed reports on that.
