You sure this is the case? I think you can only Gold/Silver/Bronze special events once but they seem to work differently. If you gold one of those for your 1st win you get credits for getting silver and bronze to. Normal races should be the same.... guess ill check!

Edit* Yep.. just did an a-spec race again and got gold. Got my credits. Id venture a guess b-spec works the same way to but my b-spec driver sucks.

Also... it seems if you have a car with a number you can pick that number/number style from the garage

Between some of these Challenges and the Licenses I'm starting to think you need a Steering Wheel if you hope to even come close to doing well.

No, what happens is if you get gold, you get the rewards for gold + silver and bronze. Not just gold.

and yea I like that you get Gold ++ and what not but FUCK that kills farming, which is all my tactics in GT....

Create or use a second account on your PS3.

Start up the game and you will be given 5 museum cards for logging on. You can then gift these back to the main account you plan to play GT with.

You can also gift away your initial purchase vehicle, although I believe you need to have a pre-order car or something else to switch to before you do.

You will be limited to gifting one car per day, however, you simply go and delete your save data for this account, and then start over. You will log in, receive 5 more museum cards, and get to purchase another starter car with your 20,000 credits.

Is this worth it? Not really, but if you are unsure about what car to start your career with...why worry? You can own all the starter cars.

Ya I would have rather they had dropped the standard cars, they really have no place in this game. They should have taken the time to put in more premium cars, like maybe bump it up to 300-400 and forget the rest. I absolutely agree with you about the car sounds, I think Forza did a better job with that. By the way, what's with the sound cutting out every time you get in a collision? Working as intended?

I haven't had any issues with sound actually cutting out. I don't play music during racing though and I've been using the theatre sound setup. So the collisions are just really lound when they occur.
